Naturist Clubs and Swims (and Saunas) in the UK
Welcome to our listing of naturist places which you can visit in the UK. (The full listing can be found on the main activities page.)
There is a wide range of naturist venues across the UK including members' clubs, regular swims and beaches. This page provides links to official venues, including naturist clubs and naturist swims.
Many of the swims actually provide additional naturist facilities. Most provide naturist use of a sauna, steam room or Jacuzzi. A few also provide other activities such as naked yoga or use of the gym (although that might require sportswear). Some provide a social environment with refreshments. Please refer to the web pages for details of facilities provided at each venue.
Naturist clubs are run by their members but usually make arrangements for visitors. The facilities of clubs vary widely but may include camping, clubhouse, swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, areas for sports such as tennis or boules, and areas for sitting or lying in the sun. Please refer to the web pages for details for each club.
In addition to the locations listed below there are many places in the countryside, especially in mountainous and remote coastal areas where naturism is practised. Skinny-dipping and naked sun-bathing are traditional in mountain lakes and streams and on remote beaches, and walking naked is practised by a surprising number of people. The only guide you need to find these spots is a good map and a sense of adventure. (These activities are often collectively referred to as "free range naturism".) There is additional information on our members-only pages about locations for free range naturism.
Also check out our holiday pages to find details of some of the many naturist resorts and designations both in the UK and around the world. If you are visiting or touring the UK and would like additional information to help plan your visit then please contact either our UK holiday advisor firstname.lastname@example.org or our head office.
Please note that some markers denote approximate locations. For members' clubs and swims, except where otherwise stated, you should always pre-arrange your visit with the event organiser prior to travelling.
