Naturism is a healthy lifestyle enjoyed by four million naturists in the UK, yet every year the law is mis-used by officials to prosecute law-abiding individuals. British Naturism is the representative body for Naturists in the UK and campaigns for clarity in the law and a greater understanding and acceptance of Naturism.

Getting involved in our campaigns is something that everyone can do. You don't have to be a BN member (though we'd clearly like you to join), to get involved, you just need to share our concerns about the way that nudity and Naturism is treated by the law and represented in society.

Briefings and Articles
We have a range of background briefing notes and articles where you can find out about the current state of the law in relation to Naturism and some of the concerns which we have about the way that Naturists are treated both by the law and in the media. A selection of our latest articles and briefings is listed in the sidebar on the right of this page.

Briefings
Our briefing papers provide background information on a range of issues such as; naturism in your own garden and on public beaches, the health implications on wearing swimming costumes in spas & saunas and naturism & religion.
