Springwood Sun Club
Miniten competition - 26 - 27 August
An open competition for men’s pairs, ladies pairs and mixed pairs. You may enter into both competitions. Ideally we will play all of the games on Sunday 26th, but there is a possibility that due to weather etc, that the competition could carry on over to Monday 27th. Tea, coffee and juice will be available for free to all competitors on the day, a cold buffet lunch is also included in the entrance fee for competitors. In the first instance please contact springwoodsports@hotmail.com for your entry form and any camping requirements. Closing date for entry is Monday 5th August. All completed forms and payments should be with the club by this date.

Unfortunately due heavy rain and strong winds gusting @ 30mph+ forecast it's not the best of days to be on the beach! Posted 24/08
Advanced warning - Beach Day may be cancelled due to the weather, forecasts leading up to Sunday are being monitored - Updates will be posted here and on SW Twitter feed @BNSouthWest
Bring a picnic and enjoy a day on this fantastic beach. Tea/coffee will be available as usual.
Look out for the BN banners/flags and gazeebo on the Knoll beach side of the central path/fire break 6 from Ferry road.
Café & toilet facilities can be found at Knoll and Shell beach car parks.
National Trust members can park free in the Knoll beach car park – NT membership card required.
Wilts & Dorset Bus (50) to Swanage misses the ferry queues and there are stops at Shell Bay, Firebreak 6 and Knoll Beach.
Families, couples, singles all welcome. Remember dogs are required to be on their leads whilst on the beach May - September inclusive.
Bring a friend and introduce them to naturism!

Billy's Week at the Naturist Foundation
11 days of family fun at Brocken Hurst, start on 17th August, including the 36th BN open Hexathlon in which competitors fend off all comers in five events - Miniten, Petanque, Swimming, Table Tennis and Darts. Bacon rolls keep you going! Book a day visit on the Foundation website and let them know you would like to take part.

Broadlands Beer and Bands Weekend

Ladies and gentlemen! Please raise your glasses and drink a toast...to the success of a Beer and Bands extravaganza at the Broadlands club in Norfolk during the August Bank Holiday weekend from Thursday (23rd) until Monday (27th).
It promises to be a barrel of fun because real ale from Wolfs Brewery – plus other drinks – from the bar will fill the glasses to be supped while members and guests enjoy the sun, a programme of live entertainments and the club's extensive facilities which includes a Bistro.
Various acts provide the music for listening and dancing. Can't dance? That's no excuse because expert tuition will be available.
On Thursday evening the bar is open from 6pm to midnight, so it's meet-and-greet old and new friends over a glass or cup of what-you-fancy, while on Friday the licensed bar will be open for a total of eight hours, with popular singer Neil Francis the headline act that evening.
Thirsts can be quenched for 11 hours on Saturday and Sunday. The Saturday programme includes a tea dance to swing and jazz music, then evening dancing to Pure Passion with a “Pop stars through the years” fancy dress theme.
Sunday promises yoga, sports competitions, fete with stalls and table-top sale, karaoke, a Broadlands Got Talent variety show and, finally, dancing to Stuart Hull.
The bar reopens on Monday when the fun programme ends with a family movie and bingo.
This event is open to all naturists. Further information can be found on the Broadlands web page (see below). Day visitors are welcome but must provide proof of identity, for example a passport or utility bill, and need to pre-book by 17.30 on Thursday 23rd August 2018. Day visitors will be charged £10 per person per day.

Noah's Ark Swim is located in Ruxley Lane, Ewell, Surrey. We swim every Sunday from 4:15pm to 6:00pm (building locked at 6:15pm) (what3words stow.risky.loops)
The price for a swim is £10.00 per person. If you wish to come along, please call Jon on 07883 002 251 during the week prior to your first visit. We offer a range of extra activities over the weeks, including Yoga, Pilates and life drawing. Please note that the previous requirement for vaccinations against Covid is no longer needed but please do not attend if unwell.
