Houghton Lodge Gardens is a glorious privately-owned property about 2.5 miles from Stockbridge in Hampshire. The gardens have a wide variety of habitats including a traditional walled garden, with herb patches, fruit trees and flowers, a beautifully manicured lawn leading from the house down to the stunning river Test, a field containing alpacas (and now also sheep) and all available (but not the house) to BN members and other naturists throughout the evening. There is also a small greenhouse of orchids and there is often art for sale on the orangery walls.
Of course, there are also the tea rooms, which remain open throughout our evening.
The gardens will remain open to the non-naturist public until 5pm and once the last of the day visitors have left then the site re-opens for naturists. This year the site will re-open for us at 5.30 p.m.
The gardens have asked that those attending remain dressed until they are inside the venue - a designated area will be made available for you to leave your clothes during the visit
Entry will cost £7.50 per person, payable direct on arrival. You cannot book for this event via BN Events
To ensure that the event is ‘CV19 Secure’ the gardens will NOT be accepting cash payments. ONLY CONTACTLESS PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED
The owner is always very welcoming and the teas, coffees and (especially!) the cakes are a particular highlight of the evening.
It is definitely worth the visit if you live in the local area or want to include the gardens as part of a longer day trip. If you are coming from further afield there are some holiday lets on site which can be rented for the night. These can be arranged directly with the owner via applerooms@houghtonlodge.co.uk. - subject of course to the latest CV19 restrictions of course!
BN members and other naturists have been visiting this site every year since 2016 and have always been blessed with glorious weather. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for a repeat performance
So why not give it a try this year? All you have to do is turn up, pay the entry, strip off and enjoy!

Naked Shropshire and the North West Region of British Naturism have arranged an evening visit to the gardens, which are near Market Drayton in Shropshire,TF9 4EU on Thursday 23rd July from 18.00 – 20.30hrs. The visit is not just for B.N members, so you can tell your naturist friends about it. Please note that this is not a clothes optional event, and visitors are expected to be naked if the weather is suitable. Admission at the entrance is £10, and £2 for children 5 – 17 years.

Online booking just a few hours ahead is sufficient if you have concerns about the weather. Anyone paying on site will need to complete track and trace procedure with there mobile phone. Any money paid on the evening must be in cash. The cost has been raised to £10 to avoid the need to give change.
Important - Please note if you arrive during the gardens normal opening hours you will end up paying twice, and in any case unless something changes in the interim period you would need to book in advance for an afternoon visit.
There is a cafe in the gardens, but it closes at 17.00hrs. Unfortunately due to the current situation I do not anticipate that tea and coffee will be available in the pavilion, this year. You are welcome to bring your own food and drink along, there are picnic areas, and the tables and chairs outside the cafe can be used after it closes.
Please remember that social distancing of 2m will apply throughout the gardens on this visit.
Please note :- The only toilets that will be available this year are at the far end of the bottom car park.
Please park in the top car park. If that becomes full we will then start using the lower car park. Once the event starts you can undress at your car.
Dogs are allowed in the gardens (not the cafe), but please remember to clear up after them.
Whilst its unlikely that there will be any changes to the above prior to our visit, do please this entry again before coming along.

We have booked the Hollywood Bowl in Ashford, Kent for an evening of naked bowling on Thursday 26 March 2020
We will have exclusive use of the venue from 7:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. so we’ll be able to be naked throughout the venue

The cost for this event is £21 for BN members - or £25 for non-members - this includes two games of bowling, shoe hire (ironically!), buffet food and a drink from the bar
A cash bar will also be available throughout the evening for additional drinks
There is plenty of free parking available at the venue, and it’s also easily accessible by public transport from Ashford station (only 38 minutes from London!)
We held an event in August 2019 at the Hollywood Bowl in Tunbridge Wells which was a great success - don’t miss out on a chance join us in March!
