There is a Naturist walk on Tuesday 7th September, from the Discovery Centre at Craven Arms, SY7 9RS. There is plenty of parking at the centre, however it is a charity and a donation of a £1 for parking would be appreciated, especially if you are not spending any money in the cafe. We can meet in the outside seating area (or inside if wet) of the cafe there from 10.30hrs, and start walking at 11.00hrs. Its important to note that this is not an official BN walk, and it is just a case of "walking with friends".
We will be walking to and from the centre. We should be able to be Naturist for around 80% of the walk. There are some steep climbs and descents, which also means that there are some great views across the surrounding countryside. One short stretch of the walk is always muddy even after a long dry spell of weather. We will also need to walk on minor roads in a few places.
The walk will take around 3.5 – 4hrs, with a stop for a packed lunch on the way.

Pre Shap Lido - Naked walk.
We plan to do a clothing-optional walk near to Shap, before the Lido event. It would be about 5 miles, 2,000 feet of ascent, taking in two Wainwright summits, Selside Pike and Branstree.
It is typical Lake District terrain, with a steep climb at the start and a steep descent at the end. In between it is mostly easy walking, with some boggy patches. There may be a bit of road walking depending on where we can park. Once away from the road it will probably be quiet (we didn't see anyone on the previous walk here), so suitable for naked walking, if it's warm enough!
Timing is to be decided, starting around 1 to 2pm. It is a 25 minute drive from the car park to the Shap Lido.
