FINAL CALL

We are pleased to announce a new major event for 2018 - NKD Festival

Location - A Secret Location near Poole in Dorset

Friday 25th - Monday 28th May - Bank Holiday Weekend

The event is designed for families, youth and festival spirited young adults.
Families and groups are encouraged to share pitches and make a weekend of it.

All passes to NKD INCLUDE a ticket to Splashdown Waterpark

There are separate camping areas for Families and Youth.

If you ask the question ‘am I too old for this’ then you probably are!

Festival spirited adults are welcomed particularly if you are joining extended family and friend groups.
We don't want to put a formal upper age limit on the event but please bear in mind this is a targeted youth and family event.

There are plenty of options from camping, glamping and more...

This will be a mad bank holiday weekend of family fun!

  • UV Body Paint Disco
  • Colour Paint Party - Holi Festival Style...
  • NKD Slip & Slide
  • Silent Disco
  • Storytelling
  • Campfire sing-a-long
  • Family Games

Mark posted some clarification here:

If you are part of the YBNish crowd, which I believe you are, you should be fine. Feel free to message @BN Events for specific clarification :)

I think this is totally ageist. I'm 44 so I'm not allowed. Last i checked i could party harder than most of these kids today. Lol.

Splashdown is open to all as usual and is a completely different event to the youth and family festival, NKD.

Hopefully see you there....

To be fair, I really hope that those who go have a good time. I'm not that bothered.

It is perhaps a little ironic that we ask society to accept us as a group whilst not accepting each other unconditionally.

Yes another one here!  Actually sounds fun and I haven't taken part in a holi-style paint party since, well, a Holi party in India!  Sounds like a few of us could be part of a group itself and a camp-fire sing a long is always fun.  I'd count myself as a festival spirited adult and I guess being young is all in your approach to life.

Oh well, let it go, but you're right, 44 is not old. If you like camp fires, try Tything Barn in the Summertime, where I will probably show up August time and sing Summertime amongst other campfire classics with my trusty guitar.

I don't think they will check your birth certificate.

Quite a shock when someone else decides you're too old.

Enjoy your weekend folks. If anyone decides to wander off site I am playing on Weymouth sea front on Sunday. I'm gigging most of the weekend, but as part of bands so might be hard to spot. In a pub right now lubricating the vocal chords as a dedicated artist must, not sure I'm supposed to use beer, but I'm right out of oily balm lozenges so it will have to do.
