Event details

A peaceful, imaginative and fun protest against oil dependency and car culture. A celebration of the bicycle and also a celebration of the power and individuality of the human body. A symbol of the vulnerability of the cyclist in traffic. The world's biggest naked protest: 50+ cities and thousands of riders participate worldwide, including around 3,000 in the UK each year.

In 2018, rides take place across the UK between 1 June and 21 July, and we expect several thousand riders. Sign-up on the WNBR main page (www.worldnakedbikeride.org/) and select the UK Cardiff event where all the directions to the event are available.

Please visit the link above to ensure you have the updated meeting times and joining instructions.

Meet at the Civic Centre on the grass area between the museum and Cardiff University from half past twelve for bike and body decoration; together we'll decorate and ourselves and our bikes before departure at 2.30pm, Saturday 16th June 2018.

The ride is about 8.5 miles through Cardiff city centre. We go slowly and will have some short rest stops. We hope to have a carnival atmosphere with music, smiles, laughter and hopefully..sunshine..

Full nudity is not obligatory. The dress code is "as bare as you dare"
