Event details

Once again there will be a visit to the Burrows Gardens in 2018.

The cost will be the same as last year, i.e. BN/INF members £7-50, Non members £10-00.

Located just off the main Ashbourne to Derby road (A52), on the Derby side of Brailsford, the gardens are approached via a tree lined avenue, at the end of which is parking on hard standing - any overflow vehicles can park on the paddock.

Tea and Coffee will be available, as well as delicious home baked cakes.

Advance tickets are now on sale in the BN shop

There was a report on last year's event on page 16 of the Autumn edition of BN Magazine.  The comments below come from a report of the previous visit the year before:

Quote

"What a gem these gardens turned out to be. The gardens [...] are not difficult to find and are essentially in two parts. One part on one side of the house has extensive lawns, a tennis court and some formally laid out lawns. On the other side of the house there are more lawns but the main feature must be the reflecting pond in front of an Italian style temple."
