Event details

A Naked Shropshire walk on Friday 20th July, starting from the village of Bucknell, Shropshire. Its a circular walk of about 9.5 - 10 miles, The walk goes over three hills Bucknell Hill, Hobden Titterhill, Bucknell Wood, giving a number of long moderate to steep climbs. Much of the walk is in woodland but there are open stretches with some fine views across the surrounding countryside.

There is a good pub in the village called The Baron, and we can park there. I propose that we meet at the pub at 11.00hrs. The pub opens and serves food from at 18.00hrs so walkers can stay for a drink and / or a meal, should they wish to.

The postcode given for the pub is SY7 OAH.

Those taking part should have with them a means of covering up quickly should that be necessary. When I walked it horse flies and other nasties were active in places so its recomended that you bring insect repellent as well as sunscreen. It goes without saying that should the weather be as hot as it has been of late then you will need to carry plenty of water.

Any queries either post here, or email me on northwestrep@bn.org.uk. My phone number mainly for use on the day is 07914 186466.
