Mikron is a Yorkshire based nationalarts charity, touring professional theatre, anywhere for everyone by canal, river, and road this is their 48th year and I love them.
Mikron annually commissions two new scripts with original music, that they perform ‘in rep’ touring by road in spring and autumn and, in summer, on board their historic narrowboat, Tyseley. They are the only company to tour professional theatre to canal and riverside venues by inland waterways.

Join us as we delve into holiday huts, bonny babies and knobbly knees with guest appearances from Marlene Dietrich, Gracie Fields, and Laurel and Hardy.
Mikron’s radiant Redcoats will guide you through 80 years of Butlins splendor with their trademark mix of fun, pathos, and songs.
