Event details

This is another walk in the West Midlands area, it is not being led by myself although I am aiming to go along. Its important to note that this is not an official BN walk, and its just a case of "walking with friends". The following details have been lifted from a Facebook page.

There is a naturist walk on Thursday 16th May, starting at 11:15am (if weather is awful the walk will move to Thurs 23rd) in the Staffordshire countryside a short way outside the village of Gnosall. The walk is approx 5 miles long and is fairly flat, so not too far or hard for the inexperienced walker like me. If anyone wishes to join us, we are aiming to meet between 11:00 and 11:15 on the canal bridge outside “The Boat Inn” at the junction of Mill Lane and Quarry Lane ST20 0DA.

There is parking on the pub car park, and in the roads nearby (Wharf lane outside the shops and Waterside court). The start of the walk is just a couple of hundred yards away across fields and loops round, finally ending up the last few hundred yards on the canal towpath back to the pub. I have walked the route before and although it is near the village, it is quite remote and not likely to come across more than a couple of textiles. I have room in my car for a couple of people. If you need a lift I will be leaving Sutton Coldfield aprox 10:15 and going via A5 to Gailey and through the back villages, so can pick up on route.
