East Sussex Naturists (ENS) is a progressive group attached to the Eastbourne Naturist Swim Club (ENSC) who organise events other than swimming. ENSC has been running for over 35 years in Eastbourne and still meets on a Sunday at the Motcombe Pool. ENS organises events across the county and has been running naked yoga classes in Hastings for about a year, but also arranges events such as this year's naked tenpin bowling and visits to art galleries from Eastbourne to Hastings and even in London.
Our instructor has taught yoga for over 20 years and has a British Wheel of Yoga Teaching Diploma and has been taking our naturist group Hatha yoga since 2018. The classes are inclusive, welcoming, relaxed and for all ages and abilities.
You will get a gentle introduction to the most basic yoga postures and will leave the class feeling looser and relaxed. The benefits of yoga practise include an increase in flexibility, strengthening the muscles and so decreasing your risk of injury. This is done by stretching and twisting in ways our day to day activities do not provide. Also stress levels are lowered, your fitness increases, the immune system is boosted and your mood improves.
Our classes are social events so we practise for an hour and then have tea and cake, so the cost is £10 or £16 for couples. Plenty of free parking right outside.
