Event details

Why not join other BN members for an afternoon of naked walking in West Hampshire?

We have planned a naturist walk through the Hampshire countryside on Friday, 14 August - the walk will start at the Mill Arms pub in Dunbridge where we will hold a naked dining event later that day

The walk is a separate event to the evening meal - you are welcome to book for this as well, but you are also welcome to enjoy one or the other. More details of the dining event can be found Here

The walk will leave from the pub at around 1130, although the pub will be open from 1100. There is a large car park behind the pub and the owner is happy for us to leave cars there during the walk. The pub is also very convenient for public transport as it is a two minute walk from the station at Dunbridge and Mottisfont which has regular services from Southampton and Salisbury. This could be a great option if you fancy a pint (or two) as a reward after the walk!

The walk will be led by Nigel Butcher - a very experienced naturist walker who knows the area well. The walk is around 10 miles and has plenty of variety. It doesn’t have any steep hills, but does have a number of stiles along the route. It should be possible to walk most of the route naked (conditions permitting!) but you will need to bring along something to use as a cover up to use at a couple of points when we will pass through villages and should we meet other groups where the walk leader feels it is appropriate to cover up

We’ll also stop a couple of times along the route, so you may want to bring a picnic lunch with you - there won’t be anywhere to buy food along the route

Well-behaved dogs will be welcome on the walk, but will need to be on leads for some sections when we will be passing through fields with livestock

We should be back at the pub around 1800 - which will leave plenty of time to get ‘changed’ for the naked dining event (or not) or to enjoy a drink before heading home

We will follow government guidelines together with BN best practice around social distancing during the event. This may mean that we need to restrict numbers on the walk to 30 people and that we will need to walk in separated groups of six people on the day

As such, it will be necessary to register for this event in advance - you can do this by sending me a PM with your name and email address. You can also email me at jon.williams@bn.org.uk

I’d also be happy to answer any questions by PM or email
