View Openstreetmap here.
How much does it cost?
The entry price is £10 for adults over 25 years old, £7 for 18-25 and students over 18 (evidence of status required). Towel hire is included. Glasgow Continental is free to Arlington Baths Club members.
The lockers take 20p & £1 coins.
Who can attend?
Holders of the Glasgow Continental Card & members of The Scottish Outdoor Club (SOC).
Members of Arlington Baths Club can attend free.
Visitors, guests and newcomers to the swim are welcome. If you do not hold one of the cards above, you must bring photo ID and proof of address eg passport & utility bill; the EU photo-driving licence covers both.
After your first time, you will need to apply for a Glasgow Continental card for return visits (see below). This also applies to members of BN. The swim card is valid for the year April to March inclusive. Renewals due by April.
On your first visit, the Arlington Baths Club will ask you to complete a health declaration which will be retained by them.
Do I need to be naked?
There is an expectation that you will be nude when swimming. You can wear a towel in the other facilities, but again most people don’t.
Will there be other women there?
Yes! Many women attend the swim, either on their own or with friends or family. Just come along - you will receive a warm welcome.
What is the etiquette?
Shower before entering the pool and after using the hot rooms / sauna.
Towels are provided for drying and sitting/lying on.
To preserve others' privacy, phones and photography are not allowed.
Tea, coffee, hot chocolate & biscuits, Sunday newspapers and information about naturist events and holidays are available in the upstairs lounge (complimentary, but donations always welcome.) Members meet there for a blether and to catch up on the latest news.
The building is locked at 9.30pm, so please aim to leave by 9.15pm.
I like Glasgow Continental, how can I start coming regularly?
Next time you come, bring your ID and one passport-style photograph 15 minutes before the swim starts and you can apply for the Glasgow Continental Card. The card runs April to March and costs £5 per year for adults over 25, £2 for 18-25, and full-time students over 18 (proof of age/student status required).
FT students & U26 may gain entry to the swim for £7 each time for the first two months of their membership.

What other facilities are available?
Clothed use of the gym (you will need an induction first by the baths staff.)
Naked Yoga - beginners' and improvers' classes (booking required, additional fee.)

Women & Men of all shapes, sizes, colours, ages and physical abilities are welcome to attend.
Whether you are new to yoga or a long time yogi – you are welcome!
All you need is yourself, a bottle of water and a towel, mats are provided but places are limited.
The studio is equipped with infrared heaters so you will experience the pleasant feeling of warmth all over your body.
There are a number of reasons to practice naked:
While our society often equates being naked with sex, other cultures have found that being naked removes many social and economic barriers. It is also very freeing to move the body without the restriction of clothing, and yoga provides a great way to deepen body acceptance. Also, being naked can bring up many of our vulnerabilities. By facing these fears in the context of a safe and supportive community we naturally become more grounded and comfortable with ourselves.
At only 5 minutes walking from Clapham North Station, the exact address will be given only after your booking is confirmed.
To book your spot please email me at namaste@doriayoga.com stating "Monday Co-Ed Naked Yoga" on the subject.

Plan your journey by train at https://www.thetrainline.com/stations/silverdale
Our facilities are few, just a small clubhouse , barbecue and picnic tables. The site requires self sufficiency from its members. There are clearings suitable for camping under canvas and up to medium sized caravans or campers, due to mild access restrictions, but cannot provide electrical hookups or piped water/waste. Perfect for a few days peace and quiet! What we have in plenty is tranquillity, and beautiful surroundings. The night sky, when clear, is amazing as we have little light pollution here.

A peaceful, imaginative and fun protest against oil dependency and car culture. A celebration of the bicycle and also a celebration of the power and individuality of the human body. A symbol of the vulnerability of the cyclist in traffic. The world's biggest naked protest: 50+ cities and thousands of riders participate worldwide, including around 3,000 in the UK each year.
In 2018, rides take place across the UK between 1 June and 21 July, and we expect several thousand riders. Sign-up on the WNBR main page (www.worldnakedbikeride.org/) and select the UK London event where all the directions to the event are available.

Routes confirmed for the 15th annual World Naked Bike Ride in London on 9th June 2018

WNBR London has confirmed that this year’s London leg of the World Naked Bike Ride, on the afternoon of Saturday 9th June, will have start points at Tower Hill, Regents Park, West Norwood, Hyde Park, Clapham Junction, and Kew Bridge. As is often the case, this is also the Queen’s Official Birthday, so we expect to see riders stop to sing Happy Birthday outside Buckingham Palace. It is also the Trooping of the Colour in the morning so there are usually good crowds to cheer on the ride.

Riders can choose from short leisurely rides or longer, harder routes into the centre  before merging together into the spectacular 1,000+ rider peloton of the WNBR.

I am organising jointly with others a charity clothes optional day at a farm in the Ely area where all age groups can learn about food and farming from a modern working farm. The farm is near Stretham,  This site also has some leisure activities. The cost is £25 each but includes a Bar-B-Q. Sensible foot wear is recommended. Soft drinks will be provided but you are welcome to bring something a bit stronger if you wish, but be mindful this farm is 5 miles away from the nearest train station . Tractor & trailer rides around the farm will take place for 20 people at a time. It will start around 11am and end about 5pm. This event is open to non BN members and are encouraged to come but they need to be aware it is a clothes optional event. Could you please let know if you are interested just so that we have good idea of numbers for the Bar-B-Q.
Just an up date for the farm walk.
The cost is now only £15 but still includes the tour and Bar-B-Q. Sunday the 10th  June is open farm Sunday but this the only one where it is clothes optional as I know of.  The start time is 11am but I need to know in advance the numbers for catering purposes.  The farm is over 1km from the road and 2km from the nearest village so privacy is assured. The money raised is going to local Rural support group called Beds & Cambs Rural Support Group. The Farm is on the Wicken road about 1 mile from Stretham, full details will be provided with confirmation of booking.
Cheers
Ian

An exciting opportunity to attend full day Naked Yoga Foundation Workshop in Clapham North London with Annette from Naked Yoga London.
An opportunity to immerse yourself more fully into the practice we cover on the Foundation Course.  If you would like to revisit, refresh, go deeper into or simply luxuriate in the foundational practice of the Dynamic Yoga Method then this workshop is for you.

It is also a great opportunity for those new to yoga who are unable to attend the Foundation Courses in London, and is advisable to anyone who hasn't done the Foundation Course and would like to attend more workshops in the Brighton Series.

Suitable for those new to yoga and also more experienced practitioners.
Annette is a renowned teacher and her classes are taught in the Dynamic Yoga Method. This practice comes from a point of non-duality, embracing the whole, both spiritual and the sensual. It is based on sensitivity, honesty and openness to what is actually happening, respecting and responding to the body's innate intelligence.
For full details of this foundation course, please visit the website below for booking and directions.
