The Northampton Sun Group (NSG) has been meeting for Skinny Dips in Northampton on Sunday evenings since 1982. Our evenings start at 17.30pm and finish at 20.00pm (Last entry at 18:00). We are a very friendly group. The mid-evening 'tea-break' gives everyone the opportunity for a chat and to socialise with other members. We hold sessions every Sunday evening (except Bank Holiday weekends and during the summer holidays in July and August) for swimming and the use of the venue's Swedish Sauna & Russian Steam Room, we also have the use of three Turkish Hot Rooms to relax in and a lounge area to hold the very informal meeting, a Table Tennis Table and there is a Naked Yoga Group that meets between 19:00 and 19:45. It’s the ultimate swimming experience and a great way to finish the weekend!

The swim is every Thursday, 7:45-8:45pm, and costs £5.
The cost includes the use of a shared sauna and steam room; but bring shorts to use them, as those facilities are shared with other users of the leisure centre. You’ll also need a (refundable) £1 coin or trolley token for the lockers.
The address is Arcadia Library & Leisure Centre, Yew Tree Avenue, Manchester, M19 3PH. There's free parking at the back, with cycle racks and local bus stops at the front, and Levenshulme train station a three minute walk away with frequent, direct services to Manchester Piccadilly. The group meets inside the leisure centre, just beyond reception, against the blue wall near the computers. A group member will welcome you there and take payment.
The pool we use has its own changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets, and includes facilities for wheelchair users. Full length blinds protect our privacy from the neighbouring pool for the duration of our swim. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed; in the pool you can swim or chat as much or as little as you like. There's an optional visit to the nearby pub The Bluebell for a pint afterwards.
Numbers vary, but average 15-20 guys each week; the maximum allowed is 30. The swim is advertised on various sites and groups online, so don’t worry if there are low numbers attending from this listing. This swim was established in 2006, and is one of the UK’s few remaining male only naturist swim events. Men from not just Manchester, but all over the UK and even around the world have swam with us; and all men are welcome to attend. For any queries, please contact me on here.

The Gathering 3rd May to 9th May 2019

Glenmorag Hotel, Dunoon, Argyll & Bute

SANER Region are holding the 7th International Naturist Gathering in Scotland, returning to the Glenmorag Hotel on the banks of the Clyde. Once again there is either a weekend break commencing 3pm on Friday 3rd until 10am Monday 6th May, or, a 6 night option departing on Thursday 9th May.
Accommodation is limited for this highly popular event, open to BN and INF Members only. The Gathering 2018 sold out 4 months in advance!
The rooms are either doubles or twin bedded and room shares are desirable as the number of single occupancies (hotel surcharge) are strictly limited. Accommodation is on a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast basis and includes all top quality entertainment for the duration of your stay. Nudity will be standard uniform for the duration of your stay though clothes will be necessary for travel to/from some of our popular activities. These include walking in the Argyll forests, naturist swim at the local pool, journey to the Kyles of Bute boat trips. ( for Official photos of The Gathering 2018 go to the Gallery). Scotty MacDoon has requested Hawaiian Shirts for his Welcome Tea Party at 4pm – it reminds him that “The Gathering is time to party “- he's so funny! Kilts and kit off at 5pm Friday. Gatherers departing on Monday can still enjoy the day with us so book late returns!
Booking for this unique event is now open:
Prices for the weekend are £155 pp ( sea view supplements of £6).
Prices for 6 nights are £260 pp ( sea view supplements of £12).
Please note that the option for the longer stay at just £35 per night extra is exceptionally good value. When considering travel costs for homeward travel on Bank Holiday Monday the 6 night option is highly recommended and gives Gatherers the opportunity to explore the gateway to the highlands. Single supplements are £25 and £55 dependent on length of stay.
Deposits are £30 pp payable at time of booking (BN / INF membership Number required) with a single final payment due on 28th February 2019 ( irrespective of length of stay).
Please note that SANER Region has taken a reduction in commission to secure these prices but will not stint on the quality of entertainment.
To book call Urquhart Travel on 0844 871 7717. (Calls cost 7p per minute so ensure you have your BN Membership number to hand).
Booking office opening hours are;
Mon to Fri 8.30am - 7.00pm
Sat 8.30am - 4.00pm
Sun 10.00am - 4.00pm

A naturist visit to the Rennaisance Nude exhibition at the Royal Academy in Piccadilly, Central London has been arranged. As soon as we receive a special link we will publish it and You can book directly with the venue at a ticket price close to the public price using this link
https://my.royalacademy.org.uk/39487/39488   The gallery wants this to be a low key visit as it is their first naturist event. There should be further details in the regional newsletter, but if you would like more details or wish to reserve a place or places please email keithpalmer17@yahoo.com or myself at naturistswim@gmx.com.
There is also the facility to phone for tickets, asking for "RN Naturist Private View" on 0207 300 8090. This site is private to us and cannot be accessed by the general public. Entry will be by ticket only so please remember to bring it with you. Please also bring with you towel (jn case you sit down) and dressing gown/bath robe (in case of emergency evacuation), also possibly some light refreshments (see below) - and your ticket !   The nearest stations are Green Park and Piccadilly Circus underground stations and Charing Cross main line station. When you arrive at the Royal Academy on Saturday evening, please make for the Burlington House entrance. This is where the Courtyard Cafe is situated. As it stands at the moment the cafe facilities in the Courtyard will close at 7.00 p.m. and in any case we would need to be clothed to visit it. If you are hungry/thirsty it might be a good idea to arrive at the Courtyard Cafe well before our entry to the gallery at 6.30. Light refreshment facilities will probably be available for us inside the main building but we are not certain about this yet. If I find out anything more before the evening I'll let you know. However if they will not be available please feel free to bring some refreshments yourselves as there will be an area given over to us for this purpose.   We will be changing on the ground floor but will need to go to the second floor for the actual exhibition. Outside the gallery you will be able to buy the audio tour of the exhibition (£4.50) and it is also hoped that the shop there will be open for our use.    Philip Baker

An exciting opportunity to attend a Naked Yoga Level 2 Course in Clapham North London with Annette from Naked Yoga London.
The Level 2 Course, is generally suitable for people who have completed the Foundation Course, or have a fairly good experience of the Dynamic Yoga Method as taught by Godfrey Devereux, or substantial experience of another good yoga practice and meditation. If in doubt that the course may not be suitable for you, just send me an email and ask.

Annette is a renowned teacher and her classes are taught in the Dynamic Yoga Method. This practice comes from a point of non-duality, embracing the whole, both spiritual and the sensual. It is based on sensitivity, honesty and openness to what is actually happening, respecting and responding to the body's innate intelligence.
For full details of this Level 2 Course, please visit the website below for booking and directions.

Once again Morecambe Bay Naturist Club will welcome prospective members to Silverglades, free of charge, on the second Saturday of the month from March to October 2019. Just let us know you are coming via our  Contact Page    or  send an email to the Secretary enquiries@mbnc.org.uk
Silverglades is our idyllic site, close to the beautiful village of Silverdale about 10 miles north of Lancaster and close to Morecambe Bay. It is an ideal place to lie in the sun, or maybe walk along our woodland trails. There are ten acres of natural woodland, the largest clearing beside the clubhouse is partly set aside as a wild flower meadow but the main lawn may be used for socialising, picnics or barbecue. Or you can relax in one of the secluded  smaller clearings, where you may not see another person.  If you want to stay longer, we can accept tents and medium sized caravans or campers (due to mild access restrictions), but cannot provide electrical hookups or piped water/waste.
A full year at Silverglades (from Apr to Mar) for a couple/family costs only £70 plus a one-off Joining Fee of £16, or £55 + £10 for singles, so it is great value!
Of course, you don 't have to wait until 2019 to visit, you can join before March 2019 for 50% of the full annual fee
Hope to see you some of you at Silverglades!

The plan is to walk along the beach as far as we can go to the river mouth and back again. We will be stopping along the way for a picnic lunch and also just to chill out and do some skinny dipping.  It is low tide about 12.30pm so we should be able to walk along the beach without the need to use the upper path.  The beach is mostly stone so some good walking shoes are a good idea.  This part of the beach is by the cliff, out of the wind so warmer.  If you can please RSVP yes if you are coming on our meetup group that would be great.  It only takes a minute to sign up and even quicker if you have a Facebook account.  This is a free last minute naturist event on a Monday.  We are not expecting many people to attend so a lot easier to chat and make new friends.  Events@naturistactivityclub.uk

This is another walk in the West Midlands area, it is not being led by myself although I am aiming to go along. Its important to note that this is not an official BN walk, and its just a case of "walking with friends". The following details have been lifted from a Facebook page.
There is a naturist walk on Thursday 16th May, starting at 11:15am (if weather is awful the walk will move to Thurs 23rd) in the Staffordshire countryside a short way outside the village of Gnosall. The walk is approx 5 miles long and is fairly flat, so not too far or hard for the inexperienced walker like me. If anyone wishes to join us, we are aiming to meet between 11:00 and 11:15 on the canal bridge outside “The Boat Inn” at the junction of Mill Lane and Quarry Lane ST20 0DA.
There is parking on the pub car park, and in the roads nearby (Wharf lane outside the shops and Waterside court). The start of the walk is just a couple of hundred yards away across fields and loops round, finally ending up the last few hundred yards on the canal towpath back to the pub. I have walked the route before and although it is near the village, it is quite remote and not likely to come across more than a couple of textiles. I have room in my car for a couple of people. If you need a lift I will be leaving Sutton Coldfield aprox 10:15 and going via A5 to Gailey and through the back villages, so can pick up on route.

This is a specially-arranged camp at a Greener Camping site in West Wales, and is suitable for families as well as singles and couples.
Tents-only and dog-free, there are five pitches for up to five people, each with their own firepit and a larger firepit for group gatherings. There's also a wood-fired pizza oven! The camp has perfectly level pitching and over 14 acres to explore, including woodlands and nature trails, and a river suitable for skinny-dipping, so while the camp is only 6 miles from the nearest beach, there's enough to keep you occupied on site. The owners have lots of experience in conservation and countryside management, as evidenced by the layout and services offered - compost toilet, urinals and a charcoal toilet for liquids only. They also provide eco-friendly soaps and shampoo for use in the shower! There is a barn for cooking and eating in inclement weather and an honesty shop for basic items.
They recommend membership of the Greener Camping Club, which for only £10 a year has a network of beautiful sites, mainly in West Wales, but it's not necessary. If you wish to go, please phone them direct and don't use the online booking service, then you can take advantage of the special cheaper rate we have negotiated of £10 to £15 per person per night, depending on numbers. NB - we need 15 campers to make it viable; they take a maximum of 25 campers. They will send you excellent directions to the site when you book.
Doesn't it sound wonderful? Here is the link to the campsite's web page:
Into the Sticks and don't forget to phone them and quote "Naturist Weekend"

Naked Southampton and BN's London South East Region (LASER) have arranged a Skinny Dip at the Oaklands Swimming Pool at Southampton, from 6.30 - 8.00 pm on Saturday 18th May.
The cost is £5 at the door. Under 18's, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, can come in for £1, and so can full time students showing a Students Union Card. The event is open to all, but please remember to bring a photo ID, such as your driving license, BN membership card, or other suitable i.d.
Please note that the postcode for the pool is SO16 8LX. Some people have found that their Sat Navs do not recognize this, however the pool is in Cromaty Road, and that is, apparently does work.
Should you have any queries please email headoffice@bn.org.uk or call 01604 620361.

BN NW Region and Liverpool Sun and Air club invite you to attend the annual Miniten competition.
There may also be 'just for fun' games of Molkky, a skittle game from Finland. (TBC)
You can either enter the Miniten competition, have a try at Molkky, or just watch and socialise. Club facilities will be available to use and there will be reasonably priced refreshments to purchase.
This event is open to ALL NW BN Members and NW BN Club Members (including swims and Worsley/Walkden regulars).
Please contact your club to enter the Miniten competition as they have the entry forms. The three competitions are all pairs (mixed, MM and FF).
The event is at Liverpool Sun and Air. The location is in the countryside to the east of the city and has easy access from the M6 and M62. It is convenient for trains (Whiston) and buses from Liverpool and Warrington. Directions on the new club website. http://lsas.org.uk/
@james.russell is the NW Region Sports Officer.
@Jane.Caunt is the host club Liaison Officer.

Swims now take place in Sheffield  at King Edward's Swimming Pool, Sheffield.
The pool address is :-
King Edward's Swimming Pool,
Clarkehouse Road
Sheffield
S10 2LB

For details of the pool please see their website ( http://kesp.co.uk/ )  It is an unusual pool, being 30m long with two shallow ends, somewhat deeper in the middle but still easy to stand. Our impression is that the pool is warmer than Chapeltown.
There is some street parking, free on Sundays. Outside of school hours we can also park for free in the school staff car park adjacent . There are two entrances:  I'd suggest the Glossop Road entrance is the one to use, but there is also an entrance on Newbould Lane which means a longer walk.
For those arriving by public transport the pool is very close to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and is served by the 120 bus, the closest tram  stop is the University of Sheffield.
If you are hungry/thirsty there is a Wetherspoon's ( The Francis Newton ) virtually opposite.
For location see Google Maps - the pool is near the centre:-
https://goo.gl/maps/G5FibCReNcB2
The swims will normally take place on the third Sunday of the month, from 1530 to 17.00. Cost will be £5 ( BN/INF, cards to be shown ) or £7 otherwise. The pool does not have lockers and swimmers are advised to bring a bag for their clothes/possessions and to take them poolside as the secure cloakroom will not  be staffed.
For further information contact the swim organiser via email schwimm4010@outlook.com or telephone 0739 358 0040.

Please join us on one of our year-round, monthly nude walks in East Sussex and Kent. They are about six miles long and we stroll rather than march. Much research goes into planning a suitable route in order to minimise the likelihood of meeting other walkers. When we do we smile and say hello. Walks are followed by tea and cake at a nearby location. Further information may be obtained from keithpalmer17@yahoo.com.
This event is open to all naturists.

There is a Naturist walk on Thursday 23rd May, from the Discovery Centre at Craven Arms, SY7 9RS. There is plenty of parking at the centre, however it is a charity and a donation of a £1 for parking would be appreciated, especially if you are not spending any money in the cafe. We can meet in the cafe there from 10.30hrs, and start walking at 11.00hrs. Its important to note that this is not an official BN walk, and it is just a case of "walking with friends".
We will be walking to and from the centre. We should be able to be Naturist for around 80% of the walk. There are some steep climbs and descents, which also means that there are some great views across the surrounding countryside. One area of the walk is muddy even after the fairly dry spell of late. We will also need to walk on minor roads in a few places.
The walk will take around 3.5 – 4hrs, with a stop for a packed lunch on the way.

Unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated.
