CANCELLED - due to lack of bookings. We'll try again next year hopefully in a post-Covid world.
Max's Garden Naturist Retreat, Washington, nr Worthing, Sussex (see their website: maxsgarden.net)
7 - 9 August 2020
OPEN TO FAMILIES WITH UNDER 18s ONLY
We're making a welcome return to Max's Garden in Sussex in August 2020. Our first families meet-up was held here in August 2019 and we're excited to be going back. The site is indeed a retreat, but a very well-resourced one with a pool, sauna, jacuzzi and social space all enclosed in a 'bubble' which means they are available whatever the weather. The site is under new management and is being improved over the winter 2019/20. We'll be planning games, activities for different ages as well as some time to chill out and do your own thing. The BIG question will be - can we top last year's 2-hour game of Piggy in the Middle in the pool?
Due to Covid-19 facilities and activities available will reflect the latest regulations and guidance.
There's space for about 10 tents, caravans and motorhomes (it depends on the size!) and EHU, shower and toilet are available too.
Booking is open on the BN Events website

Why not join other BN members for an afternoon of naked walking in West Hampshire?
We have planned a naturist walk through the Hampshire countryside on Friday, 14 August - the walk will start at the Mill Arms pub in Dunbridge where we will hold a naked dining event later that day
The walk is a separate event to the evening meal - you are welcome to book for this as well, but you are also welcome to enjoy one or the other. More details of the dining event can be found Here
The walk will leave from the pub at around 1130, although the pub will be open from 1100. There is a large car park behind the pub and the owner is happy for us to leave cars there during the walk. The pub is also very convenient for public transport as it is a two minute walk from the station at Dunbridge and Mottisfont which has regular services from Southampton and Salisbury. This could be a great option if you fancy a pint (or two) as a reward after the walk!
The walk will be led by Nigel Butcher - a very experienced naturist walker who knows the area well. The walk is around 10 miles and has plenty of variety. It doesn’t have any steep hills, but does have a number of stiles along the route. It should be possible to walk most of the route naked (conditions permitting!) but you will need to bring along something to use as a cover up to use at a couple of points when we will pass through villages and should we meet other groups where the walk leader feels it is appropriate to cover up
We’ll also stop a couple of times along the route, so you may want to bring a picnic lunch with you - there won’t be anywhere to buy food along the route
Well-behaved dogs will be welcome on the walk, but will need to be on leads for some sections when we will be passing through fields with livestock
We should be back at the pub around 1800 - which will leave plenty of time to get ‘changed’ for the naked dining event (or not) or to enjoy a drink before heading home
We will follow government guidelines together with BN best practice around social distancing during the event. This may mean that we need to restrict numbers on the walk to 30 people and that we will need to walk in separated groups of six people on the day
As such, it will be necessary to register for this event in advance - you can do this by sending me a PM with your name and email address. You can also email me at jon.williams@bn.org.uk
I’d also be happy to answer any questions by PM or email

South West Outdoor Club, nr. Dorchester, Dorset (see their website: www.swoc-naturist.co.uk)

NOTE: OPEN TO FAMILIES WITH UNDER 18s ONLY
South West Outdoor Club (SWOC to its friends) is a basic club site located near Dorset's county town or Dorchester. It has a lovely, rural site with boules, miniten and volleyball. We'll be organising sports and activities for all ages and look forward to enjoying the peace of the surrounding countryside.
Camping is available for tents, caravans and motorhomes. A toilet is available but there is no running water or EHU
Due to Covid-19 facilities and activities available will reflect the latest regulations and guidance at the time. However, the SWOC club-house (including kitchen area) will NOT be open during our stay.

Cancelled due to CV-19
Join BN for naked dining on a summer evening at a country pub in Hampshire.
We’ve hired a private room at the Mill Arms in Dunbridge, a charming 19th century pub deep in the Hampshire countryside
The pub will be hosting us from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. and dinner will be served around 7:30 p.m.
Our private room has its own bar which will be staffed throughout the evening as well as two skittle alleys which will be set up for us - as the room is self-contained it will be possible to be naked throughout the event. All you’ll need to bring is your towel and money for drinks!
If you’d like to work up an appetite before dinner, we have also organised a naked walk of 9-10 miles on the afternoon of 14 August. We’ll meet at the pub (clothed) and leave for the walk at 12 midday. It will be possible to leave cars at the pub during the walk
A wide menu will be available to pre-order before the event. We have two and three-course options available, and plenty of choice for vegetarians and those needing gluten-free meals
Families will also be welcome at this event - and a children’s menu will be available for U12's.
Although the pub is in a rural location, plenty of parking is available - and Dunbridge and Mottisfont Station is a two minute walk away. Why not leave the car at home and avoid the difficult choice about who gets to drive home!
We have also reserved all six of the rooms available at the pub. These are available to book direct via BN Events at a B&B rate. If our group books all of these rooms, the pub are very happy for the accommodation area to be naturist - and for breakfast the following morning to be naturist as well
Need more information? - email Jon Williams at jon.williams@bn.org.uk

*Summer Special Workshops*

Workshop 1  -  Foundation Refresher
Saturday 18th July   11.30am - 1.30pm

An opportunity to just let go, revisit and enjoy what you have learnt and practised during the Foundation Course, in a more free and creative way.  This workshop is primarily suitable for anyone who has attended a Foundation Course with me, in addition to more experienced practitioners.

The workshop may be suitable for those who have not attended a Foundation Course with me, in that case please be in touch with me to ask.

Workshop 2  - The Power of Ullola and the Breath (1)
Tuesday 28th July  4.30pm - 6.30pm

An opportunity to go deeper into your yoga practice through a practice focusing further on an exploration of  Ullola (translated as 'Wave'), and the possibilities it holds.   Ullola is when you are moving simply with the natural breath between two postures.  We will be combining Ullola with sequential postures (Vinyasa), and stillness   The simplicity of Ullola practice enables us more easily to let go of the thinking mind and eventually can act as an irresistible invitation to the mind to surrender into a more meditative state.
Workshop 3 - Subtle Depths to Deep Relaxation
Saturday 15th August 11.00am - 1.00pm

A deeply regenerating practice that will take us from standing postures, through floor based postures and to include some inversion variations.  Incorporating both more challenging and highly subtle movements, to take you into a delicious deep relaxation.  This workshop is most suitable for people who have attended both the Foundation and Level 2 Courses with me, if this is not the case, just send an email to ask and we can work out if the workshop will be suitable for you.

Workshop 4 - Vinyasa Nixisya (1)
Tuesday 25th August 4.30pm - 6.30pm

An energising workshop exploring a progressive series of varied standing postures.  Time will be spent to prepare the body for the Nixisya standing postures, through a sensitive xandra/surya-namaska practice, and there will also be time at the end for inversion and savasana.   This workshop is most suitable for people who have attended both the Foundation and Level 2 Courses with me and feel comfortable with those practices,  if this is not the case, just send an email to ask and we can work out if the workshop will be suitable for you

Prices and Practical Details;

The price is £29 per individual workshop.

Or a special discounted price of £95 is available for the full series of 4 workshops.

Booking is made in advance (as the workshops are likely to fill up) and your place is confirmed upon payment, which is usually made by bank transfer.   Alternate advance payment methods can be discussed if a transfer is difficult for you for any reason.

In case of cancellation full course cost may be refunded less £5 for Individual workshop bookings or £10 for the full workshop series of 4, up until 2 days before the workshop or series is due to commence, after this date no refund nor transfer is available.

In case absence, an audio recording of the specific class may be provided if advance notice is given, which would include the complete audio sound track for you to do the class in your own time, this will be available for you to do for at least 1 month after the workshop takes place.

Please feel welcome to be in touch if you have any questions not covered by the above information, or on the website, or if you would like to book.

By booking you agree to all of the above terms and conditions.
For booking please contact Annette at: nakedyogalondon@gmail.com

Please note: this is not a BN event and it's nothing to do with me. I've been notified of it as follows:
The gardens are located on the Lincoln to Wragby Road and are
A family-run, 4.5 acre garden with year-round interest in colour and texture.  Goltho Gardens has been dubbed “one of the great gardens of the future”.  (Sue Hoy, Lincolnshire Life.)
The garden boasts a long grass walk flanked by abundantly-planted borders, from which a network of paths meander.  The nut walk, delightful pæony and rose gardens and stunning wildflower meadow are at their best in spring and early summer.  A prairie border and gravel garden provide late summer and autumnal interest.  The potager’s geometric planting provides the teashop with delicious herbs and vegetables.
Many of the plants are propagated on site and can be purchased in the nursery.
The teashop serves local food, home-cooked.
Goltho Gardens and Nursery, Lincoln Road, Goltho, Market Rasen, Lincolnshire, LN8 5NF
This is a small but pretty garden. Entry fee £5, pay on entry.
The car park is exposed to the road so probably best to change in the garden.
The gardens open to the general public at 12pm, so we ask you to be dressed again by then.
The teashop will be open for lunch and drinks from 12pm.
The email giving details was sent from c.j.petchey@ntlworld.com

Prices and Practical Details;

This just in:
A  clothes optional garden visit to Hall Farm Gardens on Saturday 29th August 5pm to 7:30. (Sunset is at around 8pm)
This garden was created and is maintained by one woman and what she has achieved is staggering.
Entry fee £3, pay on entry (honesty box).
This is a quiet garden in 3 parts. The main garden, a medieval moat and a wildflower meadow. The moat and wildflower meadow are accessed from the garden along a short farm track belonging to the garden owners, secluded but occasionally used by dog walkers, so good for anyone who wants to expand their repertoire of naked walking in a safe environment where they might encounter members of the public.
The car park is fairly secluded as it and the gardens are along a quiet farm road. The car park services some workshops, expected to be closed by the time of the visit,  your choice where you get changed.
The gardens are open to the general public until 5pm although they don't seem to get many visitors. There is no tearoom, but the owner has said she can do drinks on the lawn (tea/coffee) if required.
http://www.hall-farm.co.uk
The gardens are literally 5 minutes up the road from Hemswell Antiques Centers, so anyone wanting to make an afternoon of it, try HAC for a visit. HAC also have a coffee shop in the "Guard House" and a full cafe in "Building Number 1"
Please note: this is not a BN event.

Update 29/08/2020 11:52:  Weather not looking brilliant, Temp 14 - 18 (minus 3 feel like temp). Wind N 14 - 21 mph.  Check latest at  https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/forecast/gcn85t1v7#?date=2020-08-30
Update 18/08/2020:
Sadly, for various reasons this year’s regular August Bank Holiday SW BN Beach Day will not go ahead in the usual format.  However, why not take the opportunity to get together with fellow members for a member lead informal meet up.  Suggested meeting place, near to the central Fire Break 6 path on the Knoll Beach side, this is roughly midway on the naturist beach, from around 10am.  Display your BN orange/blue towels or any other BN merchandise you may as a guide for others.
Take your own picnic/refreshments as the usual SW BN gazebo & tea-coffee facility will not be available.  Remember your sun protection and to "Social Distance" to/from the beach and whilst on the beach.
Like many beaches since the easing of lock-down, traffic in the Studland area can be very heavy & car parks busy when the weather is good. On occasions the ferry may need to stop running for short periods at a time to assist traffic/car park flows. In other words, arrive early and time your departure.
Previous evening is Splashdown in Poole, at time of posting this event is still going ahead but check HERE for latest news.
Feb 2020 – Studland beach was named as one of the world's top naturist destinations follow link to Bournemouth Echo report:   https://t.co/3zt3VlIYHC?amp=1
