The address is Arcadia Library & Leisure Centre, Yew Tree Avenue, Manchester, M19 3PH. There's free parking at the back, cycle racks and local bus stops at the front, and Levenshulme train station a three minute walk away with frequent, direct services to Manchester Piccadilly. The group meets inside the leisure centre, just beyond reception, against the blue wall near the computers. A group member will welcome you there and take payment; don't pay at reception.
If you do attend, you must:
* Bring proof of double vaccinations - a vaccination card or NHS app will be required.
* Pay contactless - all major credit / debit cards are accepted plus Apple Pay and Google Pay.
* Wear a mask when gathering in the foyer area and remain masked until naked ready to swim then unmask and enjoy the swim.
* Re-mask after the swim once showered. Please give space and respect individual preference.
* Stay at home if you have any symptoms of covid and do not attend.
The pool we use has its own changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets, and includes facilities for wheelchair users. Full length blinds protect our privacy from the neighbouring pool for the duration of our swim. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed; in the pool you can swim or chat as much or as little as you like. There's an optional visit to the nearby pub The Bluebell for a pint afterwards. Sadly due to covid protocols, the sauna and steam room are temporarily out of use.
Please RSVP here to indicate your attendance. Numbers vary, but average 15-20 guys each week; the maximum allowed is 30. The swim is advertised on various online sites and groups, so don’t worry if there are low numbers attending from this listing. This swim was established in 2006, and is one of the UK’s few remaining male only naturist swim events. Men from not just Manchester, but all over the UK and even around the world have swam with us; and all men are welcome to attend. Swims take place in Sheffield at King Edward's Swimming Pool, Sheffield.
The pool address is :-
King Edward's Swimming Pool,
Clarkehouse Road
Sheffield
S10 2LB
what3words: hunt.poker.crops
For details of the pool please see their website ( http://kesp.co.uk/ ) It is an unusual pool, being 30m long with two shallow ends, somewhat deeper in the middle but still easy to stand. Our impression is that the pool is warmer than Chapeltown.
There is some street parking, Outside of school hours we can also park for free in the school staff car park adjacent, should the gates be closed they can be opened if you know the code of #5111 The hashtag is important. Without it the gates won't budge. . There are two entrances: I'd suggest the Glossop Road entrance is the one to use.
For those arriving by public transport the pool is very close to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and is served by the 120 bus, the closest tram stop is the University of Sheffield.
If you are hungry/thirsty there is a Wetherspoon's ( The Francis Newton ) virtually opposite.
For location see Google Maps - the pool is near the centre:-
https://goo.gl/maps/G5FibCReNcB2
The swims will normally take place on the third Sunday of the month, from 1530 to 17.00. Cost will be £7 ( BN/INF, cards to be shown ) or £10 otherwise. The pool does not have lockers and swimmers are advised to bring a bag for their clothes/possessions and to take them poolside as the secure cloakroom will not be staffed.

Do I need to be naked?
There is an expectation that you will be nude when swimming. You can wear a towel in the other facilities, but again most people don’t. Towels/sheets must be worn when walking in corridors, the public rooms downstairs and upstairs.
Will there be other women there?
Many women attend the swim, either on their own or with a partner or friends. Just come along – you'll receive a warm welcome.
What's the etiquette?
Shower before entering the pool and after using the hot rooms / sauna.
Towels are provided for drying and sitting/lying on.
To preserve others' privacy, phones and photography are not allowed.
Tea, coffee & biscuits are available in the upstairs lounge—complimentary, but donations always welcome. Members meet there for a blether and to catch up on the latest news.
The building is locked at 9.30pm, so please aim to leave by 9.15pm.
What other facilities are available?
Clothed use of the gym (you'll need to arrange an induction first with the pool staff).
