We're back!
Swims take place in Sheffield  at King Edward's Swimming Pool, Sheffield.
The pool address is :-
King Edward's Swimming Pool,
Clarkehouse Road
Sheffield
S10 2LB
what3words: hunt.poker.crops

For details of the pool please see their website ( http://kesp.co.uk/ )  It is an unusual pool, being 30m long with two shallow ends, somewhat deeper in the middle but still easy to stand. The water temperature in November was 31.1 Celsius.
There is some street parking,  Outside of school hours we can also park for free in the school staff car park adjacent, should the gates be closed they can be opened if you know the code of #5111 The hashtag is important. Without it the gates won't budge. . There are two entrances:  I'd suggest the Glossop Road entrance is the one to use.
For those arriving by public transport the pool is very close to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and is served by the 120 bus, the closest tram  stop is the University of Sheffield.
If you are hungry/thirsty there is a Wetherspoon's ( The Francis Newton ) virtually opposite.
For location see Google Maps - the pool is near the centre:-
https://goo.gl/maps/G5FibCReNcB2
The swims will normally take place on the third Sunday of the month, from 1530 to 17.00. Cost will be £7 ( BN/INF, cards to be shown ) or £10 otherwise. The pool does not have lockers and swimmers are advised to bring a bag for their clothes/possessions and to take them poolside as the secure cloakroom will not  be staffed.
Numbers for the November Swim were low. If this swim is to continue, then please make the effort to attend.
For further details please contact Andrew Calow ( andrew.calow@bn.org.uk, 0114 2215579 ).

‘Boys in the Buff’ - a Christmas comedy spectacular for adults
with a *Clothing Optional* performance
for everyone ...including the audience!
As Diana and her boys sing, dance and tell stories about self-confidence, body image, and society’s unreasonably high expectations on our appearance, they share personal stories and dare each other to reveal more of themselves as the evening progresses.
An alternative to a traditional pantomime, with adult themes, ‘Boys in the Buff’ is the perfect festive show for having some fun at with your friends. You will leave with an enhanced self-worth, a song in your heart and share a few laughs along the way.
Award-winning The Garden Theatre is to present ‘Boys in the Buff’ indoors at Christmas-themed Drayton Arms Theatre, 153 Old Brompton Road, London SW5 0LJ from 15 December 2021 to
9 January 2022. With a *Clothing Optional* performance for everyone - including the audience - on Wednesday 22 December.

At your first visit, you will need to complete a Physical Activity Questionnaire for The Arlington Baths Club, which will be retained by them, and show your ID. We'll give you a tour of the building and explain what to expect. After that, you're free to enjoy your evening.
If you plan to return for future swims, let us know on the night, or via email and we'll activate your membermojo account. Once you've done that, you can purchase swim tickets which go on-sale on membermojo each Thursday evening at 7pm for that Sunday's swim.

Do I need to be naked?
There is an expectation that you will be nude when swimming. You can wear a towel in the other facilities, but again most people don’t. Towels/sheets must be worn when walking in corridors, the public rooms downstairs and upstairs.

Will there be other women there?
Many women attend the swim, either on their own or with a partner or friends. Just come along – you'll receive a warm welcome.

What's the etiquette?
Shower before entering the pool and after using the hot rooms / sauna.
Towels are provided for drying and sitting/lying on.
To preserve others' privacy, phones and photography are not allowed.
Tea, coffee & biscuits are available in the upstairs lounge—complimentary, but donations always welcome. Members meet there for a blether and to catch up on the latest news.
The building is locked at 9.30pm, so please aim to leave by 9.15pm.

What other facilities are available?
Clothed use of the gym (you'll need to arrange an induction first with the pool staff).
