Welcome to another fun and feature filled edition of BN Magazine, which will be dropping onto your doormats soon, and is available for download by members. It is packed full all the news and views from the world of British Naturism, the national organisation representing Naturists and Naturism in the UK. Of course, this is the issue where we look back and reflect upon a summer season well spent, but it's also an upbeat forward look to what promises to be another spectacular year in 2018.
In this issue then, you will find the following treats, and much more besides:
Naturism, as we know, is the perfect antidote to body image concerns. We're more used to hearing about the pressures on younger women - but what about men? We find out more. Women in Naturism - Pat tells us how she went from fearful outsider to passionate advocate Are you one of the many who would love to be more open about your Naturism, but isn't sure how to broach the subject? Our guide to talking about Naturism, along with an overview of our 'Just One Person' campaign, will help you to 'cross the line' and become a confident advocate of Naturism. Our usual event reports section looks back at some recent highlights - including the now well-established 'Streak for Tigers' event at London Zoo. Talking of events, we unveil the full events and group holidays programme for 2018 - and though we say so ourselves, it's looking good! A report on the BN Naturist Vision Day in Birmingham, where a number of inspiring presentations really helped us to think about Naturism from other perspectives. We report on the launch of Amelia Allen's fabulous book 'Naked Britain' - surely one of the finest portrayals of our way of life ever pubished. YBN - resurgent, reinvigorated and very much active! We catch up with them to find out what's going on. The Great British Skinny Dip - they came, they stripped, they dipped! But how did this year's event go, free of the ever present TV cameras that were with us last year? We find out, and also look at some possibilities for taking this flagship campaign forward. Holidays? Yes please! This issue we visit France to discover some new places - and some old favourites. All this, plus the usual updates from our legal and campaigns teams, a roundup of all the best naked news in the media!

BN205, the Autumn 2015 edition of our magazine, is packed full of news, views and features from the fabulous world of Naturism. With event reports, articles, holiday information, along with a comprehensive guide to clubs, swims and events, it is a great read, from cover to cover.

BN210 Winter 2016

The roar of the presses and the smell of ink can only mean one thing - yes, BN210 is out now! As ever it's a great read that captures all that makes Naturism special. Our first issue of 2015 is, as ever, jam packed with great articles from the world of Naturism. After the euphoria of our 50th Anniversary issue, the magazine that starts our second 50 years is now out!
BN201 is full of good stuff about Naturism in the UK and beyond.

BN200 - Summer 2014

The latest issue of BN magazine is now out.
In celebration of our 50th anniversary, BN200, the summer 2014 issue of our quarterly magazine is a ‘souvenir’ edition with a special cover and a big section dedicated to the anniversary, which includes a timeline of our history. We’re trialling some new layouts and have completely refreshed and revised the listings section to make it easier to find events, clubs and contacts.
In addition, there’s a great feature interview with Ruth Rogers from body image champions Body Gossip, articles from two first time YBNers, travel features and an illustrated report of the BN Blackpool weekend, plus the usual volume of news, updates and information.

BN196 - Summer 2013

The summer 2013 edition of British Naturism magazine (BN 196) is another wonderfully varied and colourful look at the vibrant world of naturism.
We look back on two of our biggest and best Naturist weekends ever - the visit to Blackpool at the end of February and a new and exciting venture for BN, the Scottish weekend at Dunoon in April. There are extensive reports from both events and lots of pictures.
On a more serious note, Commercial Sales Manager Andrew Welch explains our new recruitment strategy. We at British Naturism are working hard throughout 2013 to bring in new members, from among Naturists who have never joined BN as well as from non-Naturists who we think could be easily encouraged to try out our lifestyle.
Our regular feature writer, Roni Fine, encourages everyone not to let the changeable British weather put them off Naturism and talking of which, our travel section looks at some of the best venues where you can enjoy a great Naturist Holiday in the United Kingdom. We’ve also got reports from some outstanding holiday destinations in Southern Europe.
Our summer edition always features a full listing of BN’s Big Days Out - those events around the country where BN and our regions do our best to promote Naturism at Naturist and texttile venues.
All this and plenty of reports from our clubs, a busy section of What's On listings, swim and sauna details and much more.
Don't forget that the magazine and recent past issues are also available for BN members to download in the members' area.

The autumn 2013 edition of British Naturism magazine (BN 197) is another wonderfully varied and colourful look at the vibrant world of naturism.
We have a full report on Nudefest 2013 - blessed by great weather for the first time since 2010, this turned into a fantastic week at Newperran and we have a six-page special with stacks of great pictures; if you were there, see if you can spot yourself!
On a much more serious note, we report on the ongoing fallout from the Holkham Estate’s decision to ban naturism on Holkham Beach. Research and Liaison Officer Malcolm Boura and BN’s legal team report on the background to the affair and what BN is doing to try to get the ban overturned.
You can also find details of how to book your places at our two big autumn and winter events - the National Convention and AGM at Yarnfield Hall in Staffordshire and the Alton Towers weekend in November. You must be a member to attend either of these events, so why not join up via the website and come along?
We also look back to some of the best of the summer’s naked events, such as the London World Naked Bike Ride and the Naturist Foundation Jazz Festival - and forward to plans for celebrating BN’s 50th anniversary next year. We will need your help to make this work, so why not think about what you can offer?

BN195 - Spring 2013

The spring 2013 magazine (BN 195) is a great mix of stories and features from around the Naturist world.
Did you know that British Naturism will be 50 years old next spring? That’s obviously a great cause for celebration and already we have lots of good ideas, including a major exhibition on the history of Naturism. However, we need lots of pairs of hands to make it all work and in BN 195, Philip Baker explains how YOU can get involved.
As we approach our golden anniversary, many more Naturists and Naturist clubs are coming out from behind the hedges and making themselves known to the world. Magazine editor Martin Warrillow has been speaking to one of the most active clubs in terms of winning publicity - his interview with them could give you lots of ideas which could help bring new people into the wonderful world of naturism.
There have been lots of changes for the good at BN recently and Martin has been talking to our three new recruits working at Head Office in Northampton - and he’s found that, like almost all Naturists, they are really nice people!
The spring edition also features full details of our Big Days Out calendar for 2013 and has full details of how you can book your places at Nudefest, Alton Towers and the new-look National Convention weekend which, for the first time, will host our annual general meeting.
Travel reports in this issue come from Spain and her islands with a look at some well-known venues and hidden gems, as well as how ladies are leading the way on Formentera’s clothes-optional beaches, while there is plenty of news, as always, from BN’s clubs.
All this and a positively bulging section of reports from our clubs, What's On listings, swim and sauna details and much more.
