A similar poll conducted in 2011 confirmed the figure at 3.7 million (6%). The fact that Brits are increasingly opting to strip off doesn’t come as a surprise to British Naturism since it reinforces what the organisation already knows – that people of all ages are increasingly turning to healthy, body-positive, clothes-f

This week marks Mental Health Awareness Week, and the theme for 2025 is one that speaks to the heart of wellbeing: “community". Thriving, supportive communities are known to protect and promote good mental health — but in recent years, poverty and inequality have steadily eroded the fabric of many such communities. As Naturists, we know we ca

This week marks Mental Health Awareness Week, with the theme for 2025 focusing on one of the most powerful tools for wellbeing: community. In the digital age, this connection increasingly plays out online. Around 85% of young people access online communities daily. Abuse and bullying online remain commonplace, and

For Naturists, this truth is already a key part of their lives. Surveys regularly show that the aspect they value most about Naturism isn’t necessarily the freedom of bei

Another year, another trip down to the BN Swimming Gala and Festival of Sport in Hertfordshire, and another medal or two for my partner Dave! This year saw the biggest turnout ever (around 135), a horde of naked people milling around the pool. It was also the fastest, most organised gala I’ve attended. Dave and I were munching our late dinner at Maccie D’s long before 10 p.m! There were an incredible 71 races on the schedule, along with several team relays. Swimmers competed in front crawl,

Many of us will also be looking forward to visiting Naturist clubs across the UK and beyond.
