  1. British Naturism had another fantastic week at the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show at the NEC in Birmingham.  As one of the UK’s largest exhibitions, the event attracts around 100,000 visitors, and with our prime stand location, many, if not all, of them saw Naturism presented as a camping option. This year, our stand underwent a complete transformation, featuring our striking neon EveryBody sign against a leafy backdrop and live screens showcasing dynamic content rather than static i
  2. We like to bring you news stories of forthcoming events - it spreads the word, encourages more people to book and shows just how vibrant the Naturist scene is in the UK. However - I'm happy to say - there are far too many to promote them all individually and so here is a complete list of all the events happening over just the next couple of weeks and big events taking place later. Enjoy! And don't forget that we are always looking for reports on great gatherings for the magazine and elsewhere...
  3. There is good news from Shaftesbury Lido, where nude swims are hosted by the town council for the 2025 summer season, says BN member Nigel. The plan is to have weekly swims every Tuesday evening once the season begins.  In 2023 the Lido had a Naked Swim once a month; in 2024 it increased to two sessions a month and in 2025, following many requests from our naturist swimmers, it will be a weekly session. The season opening, however, depends on vital improvements to the pool being comple

  8. Corton beach, a few miles north of Lowestoft in Suffolk, has been a Naturist destination for decades, writes Eastern Region Organiser, Nigel Newman, but something happened recently that almost reads like a script from a TV sit-com. In this episode, the Parish Council take it upon themselves to stop Naturism at their local beach. They came up with the idea of a no-nonsense notice (see below) which asserts their authority, ending with the words “By Order of Corton Parish Council”. The notice doesn
  9. Harrogate, Yorkshire. Betty's Tea Rooms. A massive annual literary festival. Jaw-dropping architecture and a beautiful Victorian Turkish Baths. Wouldn't it be lovely if the latter was available for nude use? Well it is - and there are sessions coming up in February (update - sold out!) and March which we're sure you won't want to miss! The relationship between the baths and the Naturist group that hire it hasn't always been easy even if the original idea of such a venue was to cleanse

  12. It’s a long time since I have heard non-BN member Naturists ask, ‘…but what does British Naturism actually do?’ That’s pleasing, and nice to know that as we enter our seventh decade, the worth of our volunteer organisation is seen, and known to be providing services to Naturists, campaigning for better on everyone’s behalf, and ensuring a bright future for generations of Naturists yet to come. However, it brings a new challenge. We’re so busy, on so many fronts, that it becomes difficult to

  14. Burrows Gardens in Derbyshire have been open to the public since 2006. Naturist visits started in 2012 and benefitted from being on a Saturday, as the gardens were closed to the public on that day, writes Andrew Davies Craig Dalton took over the farm in the 1980s - the house having been bought by his grandfather in the 1920s. 20. The best description of the Bournemouth Legends Weekender is probably "infectious."  No, I don’t mean that we all went home with influenza; I mean that Naturism was the true winner of the weekend, spreading its positive energy to everyone who came into contact with it.
