There is good news from Shaftesbury Lido, where nude swims are hosted by the town council for the 2025 summer season, says BN member Nigel. The plan is to have weekly swims every Tuesday evening once the season begins.  In 2023 the Lido had a Naked Swim once a month; in 2024 it increased to two sessions a month and in 2025, following many requests from our naturist swimmers, it will be a weekly session. Get ready for a full weekend of activity this summer in the north east on 19-20 July! BN's SANER region are hosting not one, but two events: a boat trip around the Farne islands and a visit to the famous gardens in the grounds of Alnwick Castle. Corton beach, a few miles north of Lowestoft in Suffolk, has been a Naturist destination for decades, writes Eastern Region Organiser, Nigel Newman, but something happened recently that almost reads like a script from a TV sit-com. Burrows Gardens in Derbyshire have been open to the public since 2006. Our popular Highland Walking Weekend returns in June 2025. During the weekend we will have exclusive use of the remote Loch Ossian hostel in the central Highlands providing direct access to the hills and lower-level tracks for nude walking. Opening again last summer after refurbishment, British Naturism Sunfolk was an instant hit and popular for day visitors and those who stayed longer in tents, camper and caravans and our glamping pods. Our first big event takes place this weekend - we're sending all the best to everyone who is going! There's masses going on including live entertainment, swimming pool and sauna and the annual BN squash tournament.
