Dorothy Clive Gardens - Naturist Visit

    until
Naked Shropshire and the North West Region of British Naturism have arranged an evening visit to the gardens, which are near Market Drayton in Shropshire,TF9 4EU on Wednesday 25 th July from 18.00 – 20.30hrs. The visit is not just for B.N members, so you can tell your naturist friends about it. Please note that this is not a clothes optional event, and visitors are expected to be naked if the weather is suitable. Admission at the entrance is £8.50, and £2 for children 5 – 17 years. As we will be collecting the money on the evening please remember to bring cash, as we cannot handle debit or credit cards. There is a cafe in the gardens, but it closes at 17.30hrs. You are welcome to bring your own food and drink along, there are picnic areas, and the tables and chairs outside the cafe can be used after it closes. Please park in the top car park. Once the event starts you can undress at your car. Dogs are allowed in the gardens (not the cafe), but please remember to clear up after them. The curator advises that Naturists arriving and visiting the gardens in normal opening hours can stay on for the evening without an additional charge. For any further information in respect of the visit please contact John Rodgers either by pm, or email northwestwrep@bn.org.uk . The gardens website is http://dorothyclivegarden.co.uk/

    Naturist Walk in Shropshire

A Naked Shropshire walk on Thursday 24th May, starting from the small village of Cardington, Shropshire, which is a few miles east of Church Stretton. Its a circular walk of about 9 miles with some fine views across the surrounding countryside, there are a couple of moderate to steep climbs. There is a good pub in the village called The Royals Oak, which opens at lunchtime and in the evening. Therefore I propose that we meet at the pub at 12.00hrs with the aim of moving off by 12.30hrs. The pub re-opens at 18.00hrs so walkers can stay for a drink, and a meal, should they wish to. Depending on numbers it may be possible to leave cars in the pub car park, otherwise there is space for careful and considerate parking in the village in the area around the church. The postcode given for the pub is SY6 7JZ. Map reference 506953 Those taking part should have with them a means of covering up quickly should that be necessary. Any queries either pm me, post to the thread in the forum, or email me on northwestrep@bn.org.uk. My phone number, mainly for use on the day, is 07914 186466.
  3. Naked Southampton and BN's London South East Region (LASER) have arranged a Skinny Dip at the Oaklands Swimming Pool at Southampton, from 6.30 - 8.00 pm on Saturday 15th July. The pool's flume will be operating. The cost is £5 at the door. Under 18's, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, can come in for £1, and so can full time students showing a Students Union Card. The event is open to all, but please remember to bring a photo ID, such as your driving license, BN membership card, or other suitable i.d. Please note that the postcode for the pool is SO16 8LX. Some people have found that their Sat Navs do not recognise this, however the pool is in Cromaty Road, and that is, apparently, recognised. Should you have any queries please email me on lserep@bn.org.uk or phone 07914 186466 John Rodgers Regional Coordinator

    Houghton Lodge Gardens

    until
A Naturist Visit to Houghton Lodge Gardens, near Stockbridge in Hampshire Naked Southampton and the London and South East Region of British Naturism, have arranged a visit to Houghton Lodge Gardens on Monday 17th July from 17.00 – 19.30hrs. The gardens are alongside the River Test, in a beautiful setting, and are an ideal place to enjoy some outdoor Naturism. Admission at the entrance is £6.50. Children over 3yrs cost £3 (must be accompanied by an adult). As we have to collect the money I’m afraid its cash only, and no cards. The visit is not just for BN members, so you can tell your Naturist friends about it. Please note that this is a Naturist and not a clothes optional event. Attendees are asked not to swim in the River Test, as doing so may jeopardize any future visits to the gardens. You cannot bring your own food and drink into the gardens or associated buildings, but it can be eaten in the non-Naturist parking area. There is a cafe, which will be open until 18.00hrs, at our request for teas, coffee’s and other soft drinks. There also will be cakes and biscuits available to buy on the night and some panini. They can do quiche with cheese, salad, bread and pickles, tea/coffee for £6.50, but this needs to be ordered in advance and paid for via myself (John Rodgers), at least two weeks before the visit. I need to have your requirements and the money by Monday 3rd July. You will need to be dressed in cafe, but there is an outside seated area where you can be naked. Please don’t forget that towels are required to sit on any seats there or elsewhere in the gardens. Dogs on short leads are allowed in the gardens. However any waste must be picked up, and taken off site. There are no disposal bins at the gardens. For any further information in respect of our visit please contact Regional Representative John Rodgers on 07914 186466 or email lserep@bn.org.uk . Full contact details are in the B.N magazine. You can also visit the gardens website for more information about them. http://houghtonlodge.co.uk/ The full address is Houghton Lodge Gardens, Houghton, Stockbridge, Hampshire, SO20 6LQ
