Pre Shap Lido Naked walk.
We plan to do a clothing-optional walk near to Shap, before the Lido event. It would be about 5 miles, 2,000 feet of ascent, taking in two Wainwright summits, Selside Pike and Branstree, above Haweswater Reservoir.
It is typical Lake District terrain, with a steep climb at the start and a steep descent at the end. In between it is mostly easy walking, with some boggy patches. There may be a bit of road walking depending on where we can park. Once away from the road we can walk naked, if it's warm enough!
We will aim to start walking at 13:30, and be finished in time to get to the Lido for 6pm. It is a 25 minute drive from the car park to the Shap Lido.

After two years of successful GBSD events at the fantastic Shap Lido - we are to repeat the events again on a monthly basis from June to September. All 4 events will be hosted by the Venue, so booking details are to follow - these are also posted on the GBSD Website.
