  1. My first Naked Heart Walk during the early evening of 6th Sept 25 was a perfect way to visit the stunning College Lake Nature Reserve, near Tring in Hertfordshire.   3. As a result of connections made through BN there was an interfaith naturist mediation day held at Springwood Sun Club (nr Colchester) in August 25. Possibly the first of its kind anywhere in the world. This included practioners from the Buddhist, Shaman, Humanist Quaker, Pantheist and Christian traditions who each led a session. This thriving nature reserve supports more than 1,000 different wildlife species.  The venue is ideal for a Naked Heart Walk as it is a circular self-guided walk on a gentle footpath with way markers. Eastern Region has enjoyed naturist visits at the Lido since 2019 and are pleased to announce that we have booked Peterborough Lido again for a naturist swim in 2025. This venue is a wonderful example of a 1930s Lido with three heated pools. We have the pool from 18:30 until 20:30. The price remains as last year, £12 for BN members and £14 for others

  9. Every month there is a Regional Newsletter listing all the naturist opportunites taking place. If you're not on the mailing list then you need to sign-up. These newsletters are quite long as they are so informative, so a one-page version is produced to go on club notice boards to reach a wider audience than just BN members and so that club members can join in BN events.   12. Club Naturel is hosting a Ladies-Only, Clothes-Optional swim from 8 pm - 10 pm on 1st Friday of the Month. We use a private-hire pool near Attleborough, which also has a hot tub and sauna. The cost is £7 per person, payable on the day.   13. Norton (Fishing) Lakes are located a few miles outside Bury St.Edmunds. It is a private venue and the owner has opened it up to naturists who want to enjoy the great outdoor.   14. What a wonderful evening on 15th June for our first of three Lido swims in the Eastern Region. Yes, it rained for a while but we got to see a beautiful rainbow - and it was wetter in the water. The Peterborough Lido has classic 1930's architecture worth a visit in its own right. But it wasn't just about the swimming, there was the social aspect too, having a chat at the onsite cafe. There are two more events still to come: one at Letchworth (near Watford) and the other back at Peterborough Lido.
  15. Corton Beach is just north of Lowesoft on the Suffolk Coast. Join with other naturists for an informal get together. Sandy beach with free parking, cafe with toilets and dogs are allowed too.   16. Plans are taking shape for 2024 activities in Eastern Region. A popular naturist club near Colchester (www.SpringwoodSunClub.co.uk) will be opening their gates for the BN Eastern Region Spring Conference in April. One of the topics for the day will be how to arrange a new naturist group event, starting with the basics like identifying a suitable venue. Other topics will cover naturist events already a long way into the planning phase but not yet advertised, and there will be a summary our regula

  21. For anyone attending The Lido this Saturday 28th May. The Poolside Cafe will be closed on this occasion. You are invited to take your own food into the Lido area, where there are several picnic tables available.
  22. Tickets are now on sale for Fullers Mill Gardens on Saturday 18th June from 5,30 pm until 8pm. These beautiful gardens are run by the charity; perennial.org, and are home to many rare species from around the world., so much so; Fullers Mill garden is classified as a botanic garden. The hosts are friendly. There is a small shop to buy plants and shrubs.   23. Hi Everyone This is an independant event running from Thursday 2nd June until Sunday 5th June at Norton Fishing lakes near Stowmarket in Suffolk. It is not a BN event, but there has been interest already. The owner Stuart is a naturist and keen to have an event to encourage naturism. They are offering Beauty Therapy including waxing,  walks around the lakes, archery, clay pigeon shooting, wild camping, a platinum jubilee tea party in honour of the Queen. Lots to do. They are
