A members' club founded in 1964, Sunnybroom owns the site of a former Aberdeenshire croft, the cottage of which has been converted to provide an open-plan clubhouse, with a wood-burning stove installed at one end and a kitchen at the other.

In cool weather, it is possible to enjoy the sun's warmth in the glass-walled, translucent-roofed porch built onto the south-facing front of the cottage. There is also a wood burning sauna available.

Drinking water is provided from a pure natural highland spring quite near to the house which has never dried up in the history of the club. Water from the spring is collected in a well and is pumped up to a storage tank to supply the kitchen, two toilets and the shower. The grounds comprise a large camping field and sun-bathing lawns.

Sunnybroom is a landed club in Scotland with vehicle access and is 30 minutes from Aberdeen. Our stone cottage uses 12 volt solar power. It has a kitchen/lounge, sun room, modern toilets, shower, sauna, and uses natural spring water. We hold monthly social nights up at the club. Visitors can bring their own caravan, motorhome or tent and are situated up in the main field. The surrounding areas are great for hill walking, spotting wildlife, sightseeing with local museums, Heritage centres, castles and whisky trails.

We have a monthly swim at the Bridge of Don swimming pool, Aberdeen. Time of swim is 17.30 – 18.30, Costs £12 for the session. If you would like further information, please contact the club secretary, via email or phone.
