Every Thursday, 7:45-8:45pm. The cost is £5, which includes the use of a shared sauna and steam room; but bring shorts to use them, as those facilities are shared with other users of the leisure centre. You’ll also need a (refundable) £1 coin or trolley token for the lockers.
The address is Arcadia Library & Leisure Centre, Yew Tree Avenue, Manchester, M19 3PH. There's free parking at the back, with cycle racks and local bus stops at the front, and Levenshulme train station a three minute walk away with frequent, direct services to Manchester Piccadilly. The group meets inside the leisure centre, just beyond reception, against the blue wall near the computers. A group member will welcome you there and take payment; don't pay at reception.
The pool we use has its own changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets, and includes facilities for wheelchair users. Full length blinds protect our privacy from the neighbouring pool for the duration of our swim. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed; in the pool you can swim or chat as much or as little as you like. There's an optional visit to the nearby pub The Bluebell for a pint afterwards.
Numbers vary, but average 15-20 guys each week; the maximum allowed is 30. The swim is advertised on various sites and groups online, so don’t worry if there are low numbers attending from this listing. This swim was established in 2006, and is one of the UK’s few remaining male only naturist swim events. Men from not just Manchester, but all over the UK and even around the world have swam with us; and all men are welcome to attend. Due to popular demand, I am launching a new class!
For all of you who can't make it on Mondays, or who would prefer the Clapham Junction location, or who find the 7pm time more convenient. Now you have a new chance to practice Naked Yoga with me!
What: Co-Ed Naked Yoga Class £17 When: Every Wednesday @7pm (60 min class)
Where: Clapham Junction The full address will be given upon booking. Booking: Email me at namaste@doriayoga.com Is a mixed-gender class though no specific gender balance, either way, can be guaranteed, nor is aimed for.
All level of practitioners are welcome from complete beginners to more experienced, you will work at your own pace, following the teacher's verbal guidance. Asana (postures) options will be provided for beginners, intermediate and advanced students.
Yoga mats will be arranged in a horseshoe or circular pattern around the teacher so that each person faces the teacher but is not looking directly at other people – and nobody is behind you.
Please bring your mat, if you don't have a mat you can borrow one at the venue but a towel needs to be placed on top for protection.
If you find that you sweat a lot please bring 2 towels as the mat can't be left wet after use, for any reason, and the studio is particularly warm during the practice.

The venue will be comfortably heated, I suggest to bring a bottle of water to the class.
There is no shower facility.
You must be over 18 years of age to attend any mixed-gender class.
Photography, staring and all physical contacts are strictly prohibited.
