Beacon Tarn - Naturist Walk and Skinny Dip.
We are planning on revisiting Beacon Tarn on Saturday 4th July 2020. As restriction stand at present, I have been told by the Cumbria police that we are now allowed up to 30 in our group - this conforms with new government restrictions, it is still sensible to maintain a 2 metre distance. We will be walking from the Brown Howe car park LA12 8DW - on the A5084 west side of Coniston at 10.30am (best to arrive by 10am if you can for easier parking). On reaching the Tarn we will be taking part in an unofficial Skinny Dip. We would appreciate advance notification of your intention to attend if at all possible. This is a good 2 mile walk - each way. Please bring a packed lunch and a drink. There is a small charge for using the car park, which I believe to be circa £6 for the full day.
Please note: The postcode LA12 8DW may take you up the east side of Coniston, so best to select The Brown Howe car park on your google maps app.

We are pleased to confirm that our evening visit to High Beeches garden near Crawley, West Sussex will take place. Admission £8.00.
The garden is one of Sussex's finest gardens having 20 acres of woodland and a collection of rare and exotic plants. The plant collection has species from many parts of the world and is a hidden paradise in the Sussex High Weald and one of the finest woodland gardens in the South East.
Ice creams and soft drinks will be available. Bring your own picnic and please take your rubbish home.
Contact details of each visitor will be requested on arrival. Please be prepared to provide this information. Thankyou.

Poulton YMCA Swimming & Fitness Centre
Breck Road, Poulton-le-Fylde, Blackpool, FY6 7HJ.
Come and join us for a couple of hours in a warm, friendly and safe environment. We have the use of the pool and seating area and also full access to the Spa on the Breck facilities. These include: spa pool, sauna, steam room, salt steam room, aroma therapy room, foot spas, monsoon shower, ice fountain, heated relaxation bench's.
Don't forget to come along to the nearby Thornton Lodge pub afterwards to finish off the night. Still not sure? Just come along to the pub and meet us from around 9:10pm. (Now selling 4 cask ales).

As of March 2020, this event will not go ahead as planned. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Lido will not open until later in the summer, if at all.
Three months on, in June 2020, the company managing the Lido for Peterborough council has given up and handed back its contract. The seasonal assets such as the Lido are not the council's priority and are unlikely to open at all in 2020. Let's hope that the pool is able to open next year and that we will still be welcome.
There will be an evening midsummer Skinny Dip at Peterborough Lido, on Saturday 4th July 2010, from 19:30 to 22:00.

BN Eastern Region did this for the first time last year, and despite picking the one dull day in a scorching week it was a great success. Not only did we get many of our own members but lots of first-timers as well.
This is beautiful old Lido with three pools, patio area, lawns and cafe. The water was really warm, ideal for swimming or games or idling.

There will be a small fee, which we haven't fixed yet (it was less than £6 last year) and all you need to get in is a BN card or photo ID.
Put it in your diary and watch out for further details next year.
This map (from Open Street Map) shows the route in from the A1139 Frank Perkins Parkway. The Regional Pool car park indicated at PARK is free after 16:00. The Lido itself is at LIDO.

Wyvern Swim and Sun Club would like to invite you to our monthly naturist swim at the modern Tewkesbury Leisure Centre, GL20 5SX. The swim is from 6.30 to 8.30 with last entry being at 7.00. There is a 25 metre pool with a lane roped off for serious swimmers, a splash pool, a sauna and a steam room; we also offer free tea and coffee.
