Nak. Ed. Art3 is a new show from NaKedArt collective, a diverse and international group which arose from life drawing and painting sessions at Leith School of Art, hosted by sculptor Marcin Krupa. Of the artists exhibiting, some are old hands, others are newcomers. Their work is very varied in both subject and medium.
We're delighted to announce that the organisers have declared the morning of the first full day of the exhibition a clothes-optional event, from 9am to 1pm.
Guests wishing to attend the clothed Exhibition are requested to RSVP in advance by clicking here.

About The Host:
Marcin is a visual artist from Poland specializing in figurative sculpture, painting and drawing. He started his art education at the age of 15 when he entered the Kenar Artistic High School, Zakopane. There he developed and mastered the techniques of woodcarving, casting, bronze and ceramics. In that period, the young artist took part in various residencies and workshops in Poland and abroad including France and Germany.
After completing his Diploma, Marcin went on to study Art and Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. He graduated in 2009 with a MA degree in Sculpture. In Gdansk, Marcin acquired the skills and the expertise needed to master human anatomy and drawing. He worked with a wide range of materials: stone, resins, faux stones, plaster and concrete. During the course of his studies the artist created multiple large-scale figures many of which were commissioned to be showcased internationally.
Since moving to Scotland in 2012 Marcin has continued to expand his artistic repertoire. In Edinburgh he underwent a 6 months long course of drawing at The Academy of Realist Art. From 2014 to the present day Marcin has run untutored life drawing classes at Leith School of Art where he also works as a tutor support technician on the LSA Figure Course. He runs Figure Drawing workshops for various art organisations. From 2019 he has started working as a Gallery Curator at St Margaret’s House. In his artwork Marcin shows great admiration to the human body, its shapes, colours and variety of forms. This focus on the human body in his art also provides analysis of human sexuality and desires.

The swim is every Thursday, 7:45-8:45pm, and costs £5.
The cost includes the use of a shared sauna and steam room; but bring shorts to use them, as those facilities are shared with other users of the leisure centre. You’ll also need a (refundable) £1 coin or trolley token for the lockers.
The address is Arcadia Library & Leisure Centre, Yew Tree Avenue, Manchester, M19 3PH. There's free parking at the back, with cycle racks and local bus stops at the front, and Levenshulme train station a three minute walk away with frequent, direct services to Manchester Piccadilly. The group meets inside the leisure centre, just beyond reception, against the blue wall near the computers. A group member will welcome you there and take payment.
The pool we use has its own changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets, and includes facilities for wheelchair users. Full length blinds protect our privacy from the neighbouring pool for the duration of our swim. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed; in the pool you can swim or chat as much or as little as you like. There's an optional visit to the nearby pub The Bluebell for a pint afterwards.
Numbers vary, but average 15-20 guys each week; the maximum allowed is 30. The swim is advertised on various sites and groups online, so don’t worry if there are low numbers attending from this listing. This swim was established in 2006, and is one of the UK’s few remaining male only naturist swim events. Men from not just Manchester, but all over the UK and even around the world have swam with us; and all men are welcome to attend. For any queries, please email swiminfo@manchestermalenakedswim.co.uk or search @mcrmalenkdswim on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.
Unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated.
