Morecambe Bay Naturist Club have a stripped-back camping site close to Silverdale Station, one stop from Arnside
For the Naked Cross Bay Walk weekend of 9/10/11 June, we are offering a Camping Weekend for Singles £20 and Couples £30 (for any time between Fri 9am to Sun 9pm). We can accommodate self-sufficient campers with tents and (up to medium size) motor homes/caravans
Please note: Long/tall vehicles (motorhomes for e.g.) may find access difficult. Let us know if you have such a vehicle and we can check the situation for you.
MBNC isn’t like a traditional large naturist club. We have 10 acres of secluded woods, glades and lawns but we don’t have luxuries like electricity and gas or a water supply. We have a very basic clubhouse, and a small outdoor bbq area, but everyone visiting still needs to be self-sufficient.
Further guidance at https://morecambebaynaturistclub.wordpress.com/visitor-information/
All bookings via MBNC Secretary, pay via Bank Credit in advance as we can not take payments on site
We may require proof of ID to comply with our site licence
To book, phone 07467 246690 If our mobile goes to voicemail, please leave a message and we will get back to you

The 'Cross More ambe Bay Naked Heart Walk' for BHF Fundraising
A Great Day at a Great Bay!
Sunday 11th June @ 11.30am - Tickets are now on sale here
I would recommend parking at Grange and catching the Train to Arnside (6mins) then walk to the Pier to register at 11.00am to walk across the bay to Grange, following the official guides, then walk back to your car at Grange. That system has worked well for me twice.
The total number of miles walked from station to station is circa 6 miles, but I would say the distance across the sands is approx 4 miles - this depends on where the safest sand is on the day as the route changes daily and is marked by the official guides.
There are toilets at either end (Arnside & Grange) and there are many cafes at Grange and at Arnside where we start the walk, but most walkers take a flask and sandwich in their rucksack. Dogs are welcome for £1 per dog - payable on the day via the group organiser.
Sandals are the advised footwear, but some prefer Trainers - All the Naked Heart Walks this year are 'Clothes optional' - this to encourage newbies and partners.

Leave your clothes behind and feel the breeze on your skin as you raise vital funds for the British Heart Foundation.
The Naked Heart Walks are organised by British Naturism to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. All Naked Heart Walkers will receive:
A BHF medal at the end of the walk A fundraising pack and regular emails to keep you on track Full support from the British Heart Foundation to help you reach your target Should you need to stay at a local campsite, Morecambe Bay Naturist Club is situated close to the Silverdale railway station, where you can catch the train for the short journey to Arnside. It is a back to nature site, but toilets are available. View their website
Heart and circulatory diseases are the world’s biggest killers, and they can affect any of us, including you. But thanks to the research the British Heart Foundation is funding, there is hope. By backing the brightest scientific minds, we have the power to find treatments and cures that could make the difference between your parents living to old age or not, your friend making it to graduation or not, your sister being a phone call away or not.
This event is a bold one, just like our ambition to fund the science that keeps millions of hearts beating. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for signing up for the Naked Heart Walk and fundraising.
