This year’s theme for Mental Health Awareness Week is community — a powerful reminder that staying connected to others is essential for our wellbeing. Research consistently shows that people who feel more socially connected to family, friends, or their wider community are happier, physically healthier, and tend to live longer.
For Naturists, this truth is already a key part of their lives. Surveys regularly show that the aspect they value most about Naturism isn’t necessarily the freedom of being clothes-free, it’s the sense of community. The bonds of friendship formed in Naturist settings can be deep, lasting, and profoundly supportive. In fact, many find that taking off their clothes soon becomes the least significant part of the journey.
So this week, as we reflect on the importance of community for our mental health, let’s also consider new ways to build meaningful connections. And if you’ve never tried it, Naturism might just be one of them.
Let’s strengthen our communities — together.
