On the evening of Saturday August 2 you can immerse yourself in 250 million years of natural history at The Dorset Museum and Art Gallery in Dorchester, writes SW region events organiser Keith Bowman

View the secrets of geology, landscapes, habitats, and wildlife that surround us every day. Discover the life and works of Dorset’s famous novelist and poet Thomas Hardy and dive into key themes of his personal and professional life. Celebrate the works of Jane Austen as the museum puts on a special exhibition to mark the famous author’s 250th birthday. This is an amazing opportunity to enjoy a private viewing of the museum NAKED.

This will be our second time at the museum. In addition to a great night out we also had a lot of media attention last time, all helping to raise the profile of Naturism!
