We've also included a few great events being organised by people and organisations that we're proud to support.

This page highlights some of our larger and most popular events but also see our Events' Calendar for a full listing.

You must provide the full names of all attendees (including any children) when booking. Photo-id and proof of membership, if applicable, will be required on arrival. Further Information
If you didn’t come to Nudefest last year the site consists of two main camping areas and acres of open space, so if you wish to pitch your tent or caravan with friends we have plenty of room. British Naturism hires in extra luxury toilets and showers to complement the existing ones and we then work hard to create a festival feeling  with a huge main marquee plus several smaller ones clustered around this to form an L shaped sheltered sun trap, and provide craft, massage, catering and shop areas. Last year people said how this created a friendly village like atmosphere which encouraged a community spirit and helped people perhaps new to naturism relax and make new friends.
The main marquee will house a well-stocked bar selling locally produced ales and cider manned by Tim and his friendly professional team of helpers.  Attached to this will be a smaller quieter 'lounge' area with free daily papers to read. Next to the main marquee will be Jess and her staff from River Parrett Café who will be providing the catering throughout the event, supplying everything from bacon butties to a full evening meal.
The programme will roughly consist of (subject to change): Monday a quiet day, book in, set up and catch up with friends but no catering will be available. Tuesday the festival officially opens at 1500hrs with introductions, a tea party with free tea, scones and cream and live music from Mary Bateman. In the evening will be a lively quiz followed by the group More than One singing a mix of songs to really open the festival. On Wednesday we will booked a naturist visit to the Somerset Cider and Brandy Company followed by horse racing and karaoke in the evening. On Thursday people can visit Brandon Farm Gardens and listen to viola music on the lawns and in the evening we have a German beer night – yep a return of Baron von Schmidt Haus. Friday is a war time sing along with later in the day a forties themed singer Miss Annie followed by the resident DJ – Theresa playing a mix of modern dance music.  Saturday will open with a 5K/10K charity run followed by dog racing, and later the traditional talent night and disco. Sunday will consist of a quiz followed by a final dance with live music.
For those who want to be entertained even more during the day, there will be a whole host of fun activities. Last year we had nearly 80 sessions running across the week and some of the popular ones will be back - drum workshop, archery, fitness sessions, painting, willow making, yoga & fishing contest to name just a few, others will be new and that’s what the team are currently working on at the moment.
A quick note if you're coming from abroad please remember to quote your INF number when booking to get a discounted rate and for details and help with travel arrangements and accommodation please contact myself the Organiser for details of flights into Bristol International Airport and connecting Falcon Bus times – Nudefest is only 67km from the Airport and well worth the journey!
So keep an eye on the BN website forum and editions of BN's monthly news plus the BN Magazine for regular updates and booking details - but get the date in your diary now and book up for Nudefest ‘s tenth birthday, it’s going to great, I might even bake a cake….

Naked Southampton and the London and South East Region of British Naturism, have arranged a visit to Houghton Lodge Gardens on Monday 17th July from 17.00 – 19.30hrs. The gardens are alongside the River Test, in a beautiful setting, and are an ideal place to enjoy some outdoor Naturism.
Admission at the entrance is £6.50. Children over 3yrs cost £3 (must be accompanied by an adult). As we have to collect the money I’m afraid its cash only, and no cards.
The visit is not just for BN members, so you can tell your Naturist friends about it. Please note that this is a Naturist and not a clothes optional event.
You cannot bring your own food and drink into the gardens or associated buildings, but it can be eaten in the non-Naturist parking area. There is a cafe, which will be open until 18.00hrs, at our request for teas, coffee’s and other soft drinks. There also will be cakes and biscuits available to buy on the night and some panini. They can do quiche with cheese, salad, bread and pickles, tea/coffee for £6.50, but this needs to be ordered in advance and paid for via myself (John Rodgers), at least two weeks before the visit. I need to have your requirements and the money by Monday 3rd July. Please don’t forget that towels are required to sit on in cafe.
Dogs on short leads are allowed in the gardens. However any waste must be picked up, and taken off site. There are no disposal bins at the gardens.
For any further information in respect of our visit please contact Regional Representative John Rodgers on 07914 186466 or email lserep@bn.org.uk . Full contact details are in the B.N magazine. You can also visit the gardens website for more information about them. http://houghtonlodge.co.uk/

    18 August 2017 00:00 - 20 August 2017 00:00

Mind, Body and Naturism Weekend at Scottish Outdoor Club
    18 – 20 August 2017
From the time of the early sun clubs, naturism has been associated with a desire to improve the health of both mind and body through connecting with the natural world.  With it’s stunningly located naturist club at Inchmurrin, an island on Loch Lomond, the Scottish Outdoor Club has always been part of this tradition.
In August, we will be rekindling this link by offering Soul Moves, a residential Mind and Body weekend which is open to members and non-members alike.
Delivered by local tai chi teacher and artist Teena Gould, Soul Moves will consist of 4 workshop sessions over the weekend.  Participants will be guided through a series of exercises including simple sitting and meditation; self-massage; tai chi movements including opening and flexing joints and working in pairs on physical connection;  the opportunity in groups or pairs to listen to ourselves and others with an open mind and compassion.
At other times you can use all the club’s facilities including lounge, self-catering kitchen, sauna, hot showers, miniten court, table tennis or perhaps sunbathe or swim in the loch. There will be time for self-guided practice or (clothed) exploration of the island which boasts wonderful panoramas, a network of paths, shingle strands, woodland, a ruined castle and licensed hotel.
Accommodation will be in the club house, chalets or camping pitches.  Price per person, including accommodation, workshops plus a meal and social on the Saturday night will be £39 (or £27 camping based on 2 adults sharing). Accompanied children are welcome. Under 5s are free and children aged 5-15 just £5.
The ferry will leave Balmaha on the Eastern shore of Loch Lomond at 7pm on the Friday evening, returning at 6pm on the Sunday.  Return fare £10 / £4.50 child.

    19 August 2017 23:00 - 19 August 2017 23:00

The provisional date for Holkham Beach Day 2017 is 20th August.
Use of the signed naturist section is limited by the tides, as it includes only the part of the beach below the mean high water line. We usually choose the Sunday in August with the most suitable tide times. I am grateful for the help of Joe in Wells for hunting out long-term tide tables. The tides on Sunday 20th August 2017 should be: High 05:45; Low 12:02; High 18:19 (BST).
If only we had weather forecasts at that range!
