As the situation around us changes we fine ways to move forward...

And I'm excited to let you know that our June 2020 Naked Yoga Retreat  is going online.   And hopefully that will open up the possibility for more of you to be able join this year 🙂

So I hope you'll join us for a week of immersive and delightful yoga practice.    As always, we approach the yoga from a point of non-duality, embracing the whole, both the spiritual and the sensual., and the yoga in itself is invited as an enquiry, never imposing demands on the body
As well as the yoga classes we'll be having optional daily group 'check in' in case you have any extra questions about the yoga or your practice, or just to say hello and have a chat.  I'll also be sharing tips on how to make the most of your yoga retreat week at home.

All you'll need is a yoga mat, a webcam or a laptop or device with a webcam (unless you want to join audio only), a good speaker either on your laptop or device, or detachable speakers to hear my instructions well, perhaps a few cushions...  And also a fairly good wifi connection.  (I've explained below in more detail how to check the strenght of your wifi connection)

So put up a picture of a palm tree on your wall, open your windows, or even take your mat out in the garden if your signal is strong enough, and join us for a a beautiful week...
Summer Online Retreat Schedule

The Retreat runs from May 31 - June 5 2020

We will start on Sunday 31st May  with a welcome meeting 6.00-7.00pm, in order to say hello, ask any questions and to make sure all of our set-up is working smoothly, and to have an introducion about how we will be working throughout the week.

Between Monday 1st June and Friday 5th June we will have progressive daily yoga classes between 9.30-11.15am

On Monday, Wednesday and Friday we will also have classes in the late afternoon from 4.30-6pm

In addition to this, during the retreat we will have a scheduled optional daily 'check in' , to talk about any questions or queries you have regarding yoga or your yoga practice, or just to have a chat and catch up.

Of course, although we'd love you to attend all of the yoga classes, they are all optional, and if you miss or can't make any classes, I will send you an audio recording of the class for you to do in your own time.

I will also be sharing tips and advice on how to make the most of your retreat week at home....

MBNC Silverglades Open Day 13th June 2020 from 10am
Morecambe Bay Naturist Club is hosting an Open Day at Silverglades from 10.00am on Saturday 13/06/2020. If you have not been to Silverglades before, there is no charge for the first 24 hours of your visit, if you’d like to stay longer (either camping or returning the next day) you’ll only pay for the subsequent day(s)
If you wish to attend, just contact the club by email enquiries@mbnc.org.uk Alternatively you can call or text  07467 246690
We don’t publish the exact location, but Silverglades is ten minutes walk from Silverdale station on the Lancaster, Barrow, Carlisle line so is ideally situated for naturists without transport who live within striking distance of the Leeds – Morecambe or West coast lines (some journeys require a change at Lancaster)
When you contact us, we will give you full directions to our gate where we will meet you.
Our facilities are few, just a small clubhouse, barbecue and picnic tables (so, no electrical hookups or piped water/waste). What we do have however ia 10 acres of woodlands and glades with an abundance of nature
For those who wish to stay more than a day, there are clearings suitable for either camping under canvas or for small-medium sized caravans or campers. (Due sharp bend in our access track, we can not accommodate large caravans or campers).
Perfect for a few days peace and quiet in tranquil and beautiful surroundings. The night sky, when clear, is amazing as we have little light pollution here.

There are many that say naturism has given us a more realistic body image and boosted our self esteem.
Body positivity, body image and body confidence are often spoken about however it is often aimed towards females and neglects the fact that it effects us all men and women.
We’d like to see a change in that, hearing about it from a different perspective.
Please join us Thursday 18th June at 8:00pm for an online session discussing Body Positivity
This will be a mix of personal experiences and group discussions.

*FULLY BOOKED*
Join us for one of two 9 mile naturist walks on World Naked Hiking Day, starting at/returning to Aston Abbotts, Buckinghamshire, through the Vale of Aylesbury.  Sunday 21 June 2020, 12.30 to 6.00pm.  Please note this is a different walk to that previously advertised.
Each walk will be limited to six people and follows the same route.  The walk is mainly flat with some low level hills passing through grassland, agricultural fields and open countryside.  The circular route follows a network of public footpaths through part of the Vale of Aylesbury before heading back to the start point across more open countryside.
The event is being organised by British Naturism Eastern Region in association with the Milton Keynes Naturist Meet and Greet Group.  It is open to all members of British Naturism and other naturist (walking) groups; anyone new to naturism or to naturist walking is welcome too.  When booking, please state whether you are a member of BN or other naturist groups.

Hi i all
There's a South Wales Summer Solstice Special Zoom Meet &Greet thingy  on Sunday 21st June from 6pm (our traditional post Nudie Dudies swim pub meet) going on until around 8.00 until a lockdown lock-in 🙂  Everyone from South Wales is welcome to join us, but also any friends across the Bridge also in our shared  South Western Region .
There is much sense in the North / South regional split but friends in the north / yn yr gogledd are very welcome too. If Ireland can work across border, we can link hands over mid-Wales 🙂 . Bring your favourite tipple, dress is optional and no one has to go further than 5 miles 🙂 . On this occasion we will not fine the English lol.
As this calendar is rightly open to the browsing public, the link to join us is posted in a similar post within the Members Area.  Please click here to get to that post,  which also contains the Zoom link. Please keep that link within BN circles and genuine trusted naturists
We want to be inclusive, but not to Zoombombers 🙂

This event has been cancelled !

Eastern Region's Annual Pétanque Day will be held at Oaklands Sun Club, near Leicester.
It'll be on Sunday 28th June with play starting at 10:30 (please arrive for 10:00).
This event is open to all members of BN in Eastern Region (ER1 or ER2 on your card) and all members of our member clubs. It's an informal event, with medals and prizes on the day.
Play will be in teams of 2, of any age or gender mix. We try to organise the day so that as many people as possible get to play as many games as possible, and with that in mind we intend to repeat the success of last year by using a time cut-off to prevent the odd long game holding up the others.
Lunch will be provided.
There will be a small match fee which will include a contribution to the medals and prizes and lunch.
We will need to know final numbers a week beforehand, but you can book a place as soon as you like!
More details will appear as they are finalised.

Join Georgia from Stripped Back Yoga live from Bristol, a perfect way to sample Naturism in the comfort of your own home.
ABOUT THE SESSION
Make sure you have some space, check for any objects or hazards around you, and have some water nearby too. If you have a mat, please roll it out, if you don't, that's ok too - just make sure the surface is safe.
Try to enjoy the movements, don't worry if it's hard or your body isn't working how you'd like just yet. Yoga is all about the practice not the perfect - so just be present and see what happens.
Don't overdo it! This is important for new and seasoned yogis. Listen to your body; if you are tired, rest, if something doesn't feel right, don't do it - it's not a competition so take it easy, enjoy the practice.
Music – At home, put your favourite yoga playlist, favourite album or any music on if you like. When you initially connect your computer, your microphone will be muted automatically.
BOOKING
Each session is open to everybody from £5.00 with no future commitment - Why not give it a go?

Naturist London is a group of volunteers whose aim is to promote drop-in, inclusive naturist events in London with administrative support from BN. The regular Sunday Swim is our signature event and extremely popular. It is just like going to an ordinary public swimming pool except that costumes are banished. Unlike many traditional naturist venues, there is no booking, no membership and no commitment. You are welcome to just turn up whether or not you consider yourself a committed naturist.
Approximately once a month, BN member Emma James comes along to help with the swim and coordinate a pre-swim meet up for ladies. She also plans to organise, less frequently, an extended social programme around the swim to make a "day out in London" for those who have to travel some distance. You can contact Emma and get more details by following this link to the Naturist London Ladies Zone.
We look forward to seeing you at Naturist London. Further details can be found here.
Location
University of London Student Central, Malet St, Bloomsbury, WC1E 7HY
