Morecambe Bay Naturist Club hosts an annual Open Day at our 10 acre woodland site, Silverglades, each summer; this year it will be on Sat 10/06/23. If you have not been to Silverglades before it will be free, and if you’d like to stay longer (either camping or returning the next day) we’ll only ask for a donation for the subsequent day(s). Note that pre-booking is required, see below.
As our Open Day falls the same weekend as the naked Morecambe Bay Walk  we are offering a stripped-back Camping Weekend (from Fri 9am to Sun 9pm) for a suggested donation of £20 for Singles and £30 for Couples (normally £26 / £42) We can accommodate self-sufficient campers with tents and (up to medium size) motor homes/caravans

Stripped Back Camping
MBNC isn’t like a traditional large naturist club. We have 10 acres of secluded woods, glades and lawns but we don’t have luxuries like electricity and gas or a water supply. We have a very basic clubhouse, and a small outdoor bbq area, but everyone visiting still needs to be self-sufficient. We don’t publish the exact location, but Silverglades is ten minutes walk from Silverdale station on the Lancaster-Barrow-Carlisle line (one stop from Arnside) and is ideally situated for naturists without transport who live within striking distance of the Leeds – Morecambe or West coast lines (some journeys require a change at Lancaster)
Our facilities are few, just a small clubhouse, barbecue and picnic tables (so, no electrical hookups or piped water/waste). What we do have however is  10 acres of woodlands and glades with an abundance of nature
For those who wish to stay more than a day, there are clearings suitable for either camping under canvas or for small-medium sized caravans or campers. (Due to sharp bend in our access track, we can not accommodate large caravans or campers).
Silverglades is perfect for a few days peace and quiet in tranquil and beautiful surroundings. The night sky, when clear, is amazing as we have little light pollution here.

As Part of the weekend of naturist fun and activities around Morecambe Bay, The North and West Naturist Outreach Group are hosting a clothing optional beach day and skinny dip in association with MIND Lancashire. As well as an opportunity to enjoy the beach naturist style, the event is being organized to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing, and the benefits that the naturist ethos, freedom and lifestyle can bring, alongside the promotion of positive image and increased self-esteem.
Join us anytime between 11:00 and 4:00, or just come along for the sponsored skinny dip which is scheduled to take place at 2:00. Other activities during the day will include Tai Chi, mindfulness and beach boules.

Join us for a 9 mile naturist walk starting at/returning to a village near Bury St Edmunds.
Meet clothed at a coffee shop. Then if you are happy to, drive a short distance to the start of the walk.
The walk is over mostly flat terrain along field edges, with just a couple of stiles. Bring a packed lunch and a drink for a stop half way round. The start is 2 miles from a train station.
 The event is being organised by British Naturism Eastern Region in association with the Milton Keynes Naturist Meet and Greet Group.  It is open to all members of British Naturism and other naturist (walking) groups; anyone new to naturism or to naturist walking is welcome too.  When booking, please state whether you are a member of BN or other naturist groups.

The Chester Swim - A Weekly Naturist Swim at the Northgate Arena.
We are a friendly Club who meet up every weekend to swim and socialise. Our membership is comprised of families, couples and singles, and we welcome all genuine naturists who wish to visit.

We meet every Saturday evening at the Northgate Arena in the city of Chester, 6.15pm until 8pm in the pool. The Club has excellent facilities and ample FREE parking.
We have excellent facilities with the main leisure pool, water slide, and also the sauna and steam room located at the side of the pool.

The pool is ideal for children and non-swimmers as it has a beach end, which allows you to paddle up to a depth that you are comfortable with, right up to the diving end of the pool at just over 3 metres deep. The pool is also ideal for disabled people.
The sauna and steam room are next to the pool. There are also tables and chairs by the poolside which provide an ideal place for a chat with friends.

Lane swimming across the width of the pool is popular with some of our 'serious swimmer' members. The 70m flume is a popular feature of the Northgate pool. The deep end of the pool goes to a depth of 3 metres.

The Great British Skinny Dip is hosting a Ladies Only Clothing Optional skinny dip at South Forest Leisure Centre on Saturday, 10 June 2023.
Whether or not you've ever considered being naked outside of your home, this is your opportunity to try it and take a huge step on the journey towards self-acceptance and embracing body positivity.
Bring swimwear or don't, it's entirely up to you. There's no pressure to skinny dip, the only compulsion may come from the fear of missing out on what is thought to be the first event of its kind in the East Midlands.
Being nude with others is not embarrassing. First-timers often remark how quickly they feel comfortable wearing nothing and seeing other unclothed - in fact, it's easy to forget that everyone is naked. You'll find all shapes and sizes - every body is normal!

Eastern Region had a very enjoyable visit to the Lido in 2019, 2021 and 2022 and are pleased to announce that we have booked Peterborough Lido again for 4 naturist swims in 2023. This is a wonderful example of a 1930s Lido with 3 heated pools.

Travel to the Lido is easy. There is a large carpark next to the Lido and it is 15 minutes walk from the railway station (0.7 miles).
For those with mobility problems; the pool is basically on one level with good steps in the corners of the pool for access.
