Jacki and her team are holding another rally in the spring based on the great success they had last year. Being held at Lower Poulza Farm near Bude in Cornwall starting in the afternoon of Wednesday 8th May and finishing on Wednesday 15th May 2024. Lower Poulza is a beautiful unspoilt site with plenty of space to walk around and with lots of fantastic local walks and the scenic Atlantic coast to explore and of course nearby there is Tintagel, Boscastle, Widmouth Bay, Crackington Haven, Bude, Bideford, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan and lots more… Come along a meet friends both old and new and Jacki says “the urn will be on in the Club House all day on arrival day and every afternoon at 5pm for tea, coffee, biscuits and a chat about what you have discovered during your day in the area. There will be a fish & chip supper, welly wanging, cream tea and boules match and a campfire evening” Lower Poulza has great facilities and Jacki reminds me that if you wish to attend you will need to send her a booking form and deposit. The Northampton Sun Group was formed 42 years ago in 1982.
We have access to Two Swimming Pools, use of a Sauna, a Steam-Room, a Plunge Pool and Turkish Hot Rooms. The Doors are open at 17:00 till 18:00 for entry.
Membership and Visiting is open to all, male or female, singles or couples, all are equally welcome. If you have not been along to a meeting before you can just turn up on the night. Please bring along Photo ID and Proof of Address on your first visit. Or if you are a BN Member please bring along your Current BN Membership card.
There is no requirement to contact us in advance of your visit, however, if you do have any queries you can get in contact via the website or email us.
Currently the Entry Fee is £10 each. It is FREE for U18s, but they MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
There is plenty of Parking in the Victoria Street Car Park, opposite The Mounts. N.B. It is only FREE for the first 2 hours, so if attending a full swim you will need to pay £2.20 before leaving the car park! It’s about a 1 minute walk from the car park to The Mounts. The Postcode for the Car Park is – NN1 3NR.
There is also Free Disabled Parking in front of The Mounts. A Blue Disabled Badge will need to be exhibited in your windscreen. There is also a ramp into the building for Wheelchair Access.
Free Tea, Coffee and Biscuits (Donations Welcome) will be available during the evening in the Meeting Room. Please bring your own mug or cup to help us cut down on paper cup usage. You are also welcome to bring your own snack or drink if you wish. That’s all!
