Nudefest 2024 is returning to Thorney Lakes in Somerset in June for a celebration of Naturism. To avoid going head-to-head with both Glastonbury traffic and competing for suppliers we have moved our dates to be earlier than usual. Nudefest fuses an incredible line-up of daytime activities with nightly entertainment across multiple venues. Take a look at some of the highlights to get a flavour of what's in store. There is always something to do and at the heart of it all is our great British Naturism community.

The circular route follows a network of public footpaths before heading back to the start point across open countryside.

As part of World Naked Hiking Day we will be doing a clothing-optional walk in the Northern Lake District.
The walk will start from the hamlet of Mungrisdale (near Penrith, CA11 0XR). We will climb Souther Fell, then descend to a bridge across the River Glenderamackin then up to the summit of Bannerdale Crags. Then we walk to the summit of Bowscale Fell.
From Bowscale Fell we can either descend directly to Mungrisdale or descend via Bowscale Tarn for a skinny dip (depending on the weather!)
The walk will be between 8 and 9 miles (13 to 15 km) with about 2,200 feet of ascent (665 metres). I estimate it would take about 5 hours walking plus about an hour for stops eg lunch or a dip.
The walk is on typical Lake District terrain, with a bit of road walking, grassy paths, some stony, rocky paths, and potentially boggy areas.
Please bear in mind that this is quite a challenging walk if you're not used to walking in the area, with significant climbs and descents. In the past people have turned back on similar walks due to the amount of climbing or the rough terrain!
Lake District weather is very changeable and what might look like a nice warm day at the start could be very different on the summits. Although we hope to walk naked for some of the walk you should bring warm and waterproof clothing, and suitable footwear (unless you are a bare footer).
If you have any questions or would like to register email david.butterfield@bn.org.uk

This is approximately a six mile walk mostly in the forest but with some heath land. The walk can lengthened or shortened somewhat depending on the needs of the group.
The walk is on flat terrain but there are some trip hazards. Ticks are always a risk so repellent is advised despite every attempt to avoid the longer grass.
If you would like to register for this walk please email Amanda and Andrew Roch, easternwalks@bn.org.uk Full joining details will be provided to those who register a couple of days before the walk when the recce has been completed.

We are a naturist swimming and social club serving the Norfolk & Suffolk area. We hold naturist swims every Friday and organise social events throughout the year.
For our swims, we use a private-hire pool near Attleborough, which also has a hot tub and sauna. Swim times vary depending on the week of the month. For the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month they are from 2 – 4 pm. On all other Fridays, they are from 8 – 10 pm.
Visitors are welcome by prior arrangement, as we only have two or three visitor places each week. The cost is £5 for members and £7 for visitors. If you would like to arrange a visit, please contact us by email or phone. For safeguarding reasons, we will need to know your real name, and on your fist visit you will be asked to show a valid photo ID, such as a driving license or passport.
Once your first visit has been arranged, we will send you detailed directions to the pool and information on local parking.
